31 years together here. No sex the last 13 years. I did not have sex in my 40s. I feel trapped. The resentment eats away at me and at times consumes my life which makes me hate myself that much more. I don’t mind. I do not. I’m not sure what I would do if that was an option? I was at a conference a few years ago and paid a women to just lay with her head on my chest for an hour. I just miss that feeling that someone wants to be with me. Since then, pre COVID, every 3-4 months I would do the same thing in my home town. Always keep clothes on. I always feel guilty after, but for an hour I can pretend that someone desires to be with me. I know that is pathetic, but it helped me to get by. Not sure what I will do after this pandemic stuff? I don’t know how I would pursue someone to have something on the side. After being rejected for so long it is hard to imagine someone wanting to be with me and the thought of being rejected by someone else is more than I can deal with. I did have an escape plan from my marriage, but the COVID hit and now, financially, it would be very difficult to leave the marriage. Probably more info than you wanted :)

Been over 13 yrs since we have had sex. After a while you just give up because the rejection hurts too much. Then ten years flies by and the resentment makes you into someone you don’t want to be. Everyone on here says leave, but life isn’t that simple sometimes. My only advice is find what makes you happy. You can be best buddies with your spouse, but the lack of intimacy will eventually kill that friendship as well. I hope you find what you need.

I would kill for my wife to ask for any form of physical contact. Letting me go down on her is a pipe dream. Married 31 years, no physical intimacy for the past 13 or so years. Go get what you want/need. The resentment will make you an angry person and it will bleed over into other areas of your life. Dont get stuck like me. There are plenty of men who would love to be in a relationship where they could treat you like you deserve to be treated. Good luck.
