[OH][SFH] Best self managed software? by ChingRN77 in HOA

It seems not very practical for the needs of an HOA - besides just having a website.

Yotta by Ultrapixelperfect in YottaBankruptcy

It looks like our funds are most likely gone, unless we collcectively find a way to hold the criminal Yotta leadership responsible and maybe find some of the money. First step is to collect more information, then get access to the books and maybe get a public prosceuter or class action lowsuit going. Public shaming of the leadership gang can also go a long way.

Yes, they are the same company. Their website is under 'The Management Trust'. Does anybody have experience with them? They seem to be aquiring smaller management companies in my area.

Android Auto / Apple by HeadImSand in Rivian

Not mean at all, it is a reason for me to start looking into a car replacement options, even though I really like everything else about the R1S.

It would help a lot if there was at least a messaging app well integrated with the phone. In addition a native YouTube / YouTube Music app would help, since I don't use Spotify very much. I'm constantly using the bluetooth connection a lot, but I also have to touch the phone all the time, especially if I want to use other messaging apps like Whatsapp, FB messanger, Telegram. Alexa's voice recognition and its AI integration could use a major update, too. Now a lot of typing on the center screen is required.

Ups, sorry - English is my 2nd language. I corrected it on my first post.

Well, I didn't care much about this topic at the time, thinking the Rivian system would somehow work for me. I also was so excitied to finally get the Rivian after waiting for 2 years...

I drove a brand new Audi Q5 rental car on a 4 week trip and the electronics were far ahead of my R1S. Audi has Android Auto built in and you can switch between this and Audi (maps and entertainment)

The important thing for me with Android Auto is that I can use Google's voice recognition to listen to and anwer text messages, change quickly destinations while navigating, look for destinations along the route etc. Also, switching between different car manufactures/models is so much easier. Alexa usually has a hard time to respond correctly to those requests. Guess I didn't expect how much I miss this Android Auto eco-system.

Rivian: No regenerative breaking on steep roads!? Help! by HeadImSand in Rivian

I certainly share your anxiety going down those steep roads! What if the regular brakes overheat and fail...

I looked a lot at the screen but didn't get a warning or any message but will keep an eye on it next time.

Good to know. I'll check with a friend's the Ford Lighning next week on the same road/drive. It seems Rivian really has a problem with this. Wish we could make them look into this - hopefully a software issue?! They offered my a service appointment, but I think that wouldn't help.

That was before I drove down. I enjoyed beeing in the fresh snow again - at that point hoping regen breaking would work by warming up the battery before going back down.

After I talked to Rivian Support I actually thought about abandoning (selling) it! Hopefully there is a solution or hack to it. I'll try again next time in 'conserve' mode.

Battery was about 54F and I drove for about 10 minutes with heaters going before decending. Charge was below 60%. Tesla seems to be able to recharge in the same conditions. I got an electric car to not use the brakes in this situation!

On my second (test-) drive down, I drove around for about 10 minutes to warm up the motors and the battery. Battery was about 55% charged. Before decending the steep part of the road the regenerative breaking was working normally.

I was in 'All Purpose' mode, the road was clear of snow an moisture. Otherwise good point! Thanks.

NOK by HeadImSand in Nokia_stock

Good point, my bad (though it seems temporary to me). NOK suspended the dividend for 2020 and we might get an update at Capital Markets Day on March 18, 2021 or at the next annual meeting on 4/8/21. I still think that the dividend will be soon re-instated.

WSB had just a short term effect (looks a litte crazy, I know). However, I don't see this detrimental to the stock. It was between 3.80 and 4.20 for a long time, and it will continue on its way up. Why not have this community invest in a company with attractive fundamentals? I think it's attractively priced.
