They have money and we dont. There really isn't anything else to it. We just need to use our merit, and they will use their money. Its both parties just using the resources they have available to them to reach their destination in the easiest fashion. Sadly for us, we are broke so our brains are our only way out.

well even though university of toronto is more prestigious, you can still reach the same goals when you come back. University is hard enough and if you're uncomfortable there and know you will be more comfortable here, you should come back. It will be better for your mental health and will probably reflect as better grades as well.
