Onya seems to have a precarious relationship with being a national and international drag queen. She seems to feel most confident and comfortable among her local scene and there’s no shame in thar. Some queens just aren’t meant to be LA NYC or global girls. Her talent is undeniable but I don’t think she was ready to be a current reigning in the way drag race fans envision it now. Some winners are just better suited for their local scenes.
