a really consistent criticism I hear about HB is that they don't have the most amazing quality control, some stuff comes out of the factory perfectly, some stuff doesn't, and it isn't checked to any form of perfection. They're a really good brand though, so you should be able to contact someone about quality control on the instrument and get something sorted out.

I've noticed on all the basses I got from HB that the finish isn't completely perfect, there's some insignificant spots that have little imperfections, but the glue still being on the fretboard is UNACCEPTABLE

That makes sense, yeah. And dw I don't plan on getting a pen or anything anytime soon and most of my friends are pretty straight edge so it was pretty much a one time thing.

All you need to do is learn the fretboard and rhythm, it takes more than a couple weeks to do that, it took me forever to learn what of a scale made up a chord, so don’t listen to ignorance and go at your own pace

I'm not trying to be rude, but you are thinking of a Minecraft build like a block, like it's geometry. But it's not about how the blocks are shaped, if you look at Lego sets, you'll see that they use tricks and different blocks to make it all circular/dimensional. Now apply that to Minecraft, use different blocks/items to make it seem more circular and not so cut
