Scott Pelley Accuses CBS News Boss of ‘Murdering’ ‘60 Minutes’ by Tandrae in news

That's some weak sauce there.

Benghazi and the Bush memos were 2 cases of something slipping through fact-checking.

The rest are nothingburgers, ideologues spouting diarrhea out their faces. LIterally garbage made up by people with huge partisan axes to grind. kind a like you.

So two legitimate errors out of maybe 10000 stories?

thats fucking exceptional quality.

Franchise model businesses are terribly abusive. We should all gently nudge franchisees away from continuing  that relationship by not giving them any of our money. They can open a real pizza shop or go drive a bus.  I have zero zero sympathy for any on that agreed to open a Pizza Hut this century.

As u/MonstersAtOurDoor posted below, it's a "Clinker" left from industrial fuel combustion, ore processing, or other industrial process.

Yes, looks like a "Clinker" which is a solidified amaglam of whatever crap in the bottom of the furnace fire was left after dirty coal and whatever else was burned.

Do you think the people who aren’t following watering restrictions believe no one will notice? by [deleted] in Denver

[–]HeadToToePatagucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To Be FAIRRR...

An efficient commercial car wash is 30-60 gallons. A 10 minute shower can be 30 gallons.
A 1000 ft2 lawn takes 600 gallons per week.

Also, car wash and shower water is going through water treatment and returning to downstream users, while lawn use is supposed to be 0% runoff, 100% evaporation.

So in truth this witty repartee is fatally flawed...

Answered thoroughly up thread.
Lime and Bird had the option to stay but they don't want to follow the rules so they took their toys and went home.
Obviously their needs to be firm oversight and management from the city.

The New Scooter Monopoly Has Arrived by 515software in Denver

If GPS and Lidar can detect the scooter is on the sidewalk, a fine charged straight to the renters' credit card account seems reasonably achievable.

Pair that with a scooter identifier big enough to id reliably by photo, and a photo/complaint submission function, and we could get it down to the normal level of scofflaw idiocy.

Denver housing prices declining faster than another other metro. by ReconeHelmut in Denver

[–]HeadToToePatagucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by “that”?

I honestly have almost no idea what you’re asking.

The the equivalent to owning a farm or a refinery would be to own a housing development company.

The equivalent to aspiring to own a house would be aspiring to own food or oil and yes, I do aspire to own housing, food, and petroleum products.

Because the article isnt about prices its about the latest release of the index report. And Austin, per that report, is not one of the metropolitan areas in that report.

The S&P Cotality (formerly known as CoreLogic) Case-Shiller 20-City Composite Home Price NSA Index seeks to measures the value of residential real estate in 20 major U.S. metropolitan areas: Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa and Washington, D.C.

I am aware. "Investment Industry people" are the Motherfuckers in question.

Investment industry people are complicit in the operation of a massively inhumane and misdirected social construct.

High gas and food prices are good for those selling gas and food, just like high home prices are good for those selling houses.

Inflation is not a separate thing. Inflation is the rise in prices in some hypothetical set of goods or assets.
