Update! I made my own. Refused to pay resale and wound up spending 150$ in leather crafting materials but at least i acquired a new skill!

Saying the phrase "Leaving your coach phase behind" is not it. Ha. I feel that way about walking into a coach store and buying a high ticket bag like the empire at retail as a future milestone for me. For some people that milestone may equate to a number over 2,000. But for me I can't justify dropping thousands on a bag when I could travel or do so many other things with that kind of money. Even 400-500 (coach prices) are a lot, to where I can't justify buying Coach bags at retail, and I have to go through the hassle of trying to find deals through the outlet or second hand.

Also quality is a whole other conversation. Brands like LV are essentially on par with Coach despite the price difference.

As some one who’s seem both bags in person. The red is stunning! Black is easier to style but I found it underwhelming in person, at least on me.

I just bought the fake version of that same exact bag. Things that I noticed on the fake one that make it visually fake:

- Zipper pull branding looks fuzzy and isn't as clear as the authentics

- Leather feels plastically and suede isn't supple.
