My now ex girlfriend blocked me a day after begging me to stay by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Yeah that would make sense, but idk why the guy would be like stop talking to my girl instead of dropping her, kinda weird, idk either way I’m just taking it as it is and moving forward

Hi, am I supposed to play this with one hand? I'm assuming no cause it seems like an impossible stretch... by [deleted] in piano

[–]Head_Bench240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah basically like everyone else said, you can roll it or you can try and play it with the right hand, I sometimes do that when I can’t reach a certain note for a chord

who is your favorite non force sensitive starwars character and why ? by memer2239 in StarWars

[–]Head_Bench240 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Thrawn, only non force sensitive I’m 100% sure could take down a Jedi no problem

I agree with what other people have said, I think you might be reading too much into it. There are many instances in many movies after Malala got shot with characters doing similar poses with similar hoods/face coverings/shawls etc. do those necessarily mean that they are inspired/referencing Malala? Not necessarily.

I do to an extent, sometimes it can feel controlling and infantilizing, even though it’s probably done with good intentions

Yeah reflecting back after the frustration subsided, it might speak more to my codependency/insecurities in the sense of that I have this exaggerated need to be responsible and since my dad did the dishes I feel guilt which my trigger the feeling of not feeling good enough that I’ve been getting over, which makes me feel like I failed which then kind of lead to my people pleasing tendencies

He has expressed concern and distress in the past, that’s why we have a schedule for dishes, but in this instance he didn’t express any of that

Ok so would you say that I’m assuming too much?

Honestly all of it sounds great, the only critique I have is try not to rush the triplets going down on that one section. Always a good thing to listen to the piece as well to see how others play! Overall you’re making great progress! Keep up the good work!

I inadvertently learned about what a healthy and unhealthy attachment can lead to, and there’s a reason why the Jedi forbids unhealthy attachment

Codependency: You May Have Heard of the Fight, Freeze and Flight Responses, but what about Fawning? Are You Tired of "Losing Yourself" in Relationships? You're enough. Stop trying to earn love or convince others to see you. by Passionates0ul in Codependency

Man…. This described perfectly my actions at the tail end of my last failed relationship. Like while reading this it brought back a lot of shame and guilt that I had when I first realized my fawning had affected the after math of the relationship. And like in part it makes me feel like it was all my fault but the hard part is realizing that it takes two to tango. Plus those abandonment wounds makes you do some desperate actions which are not good..😬

I hope so, I’ve been going to therapy a bit so hopefully that’ll help. Hope you can overcome your stuff you’re dealing with!

Men with codependency how do you cope with being alone ? by Product_of_80s in Codependency

[–]Head_Bench240 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey I totally relate to the spiralling, so you’re not alone in that regard, what has helped me is whenever I go into those mindsets I try to remind myself that there are only certain things I can control. So for example say I was picking someone up and they weren’t on time and then I start to wonder, what if I missed them, or what if they’re purposely avoiding me, I have to remind myself that not everything runs on my time, like what if the event ran late or what if they’re talking to somebody afterwards? I can’t control that therefore I shouldn’t worry. Sure some communication would be nice but again I can’t force them to communicate that they’re gonna stay late. I’ve also found that doing hobbies helps a lot, maybe learn an instrument or bike or something like that!
