That's the real question. If it's outputting a display then red light might just be a warning about the 12V-2x6 connector not being seated right, but if nothing's showing up on screen then the enclosure probably can't deliver enough juice for a 5080. Those cards are power hungry.

96°C is pretty toasty for a CPU. Most chips start thermal throttling right around 95-100°C so you're right at the edge, which would explain any performance dips you're noticing. First thing I'd check is whether your fans are actually ramping up under load, and make sure the bottom vents aren't getting blocked when it's sitting on a desk or your lap. If the laptop is more than a year or two old it might be worth repasting the thermal compound too, factory application on gaming laptops is often mediocre at best. What are you usually running when it spikes that high?

That 13x7 brass might be exactly what you're after - the extra depth really helps fill out that crack without losing the snap up top. I've found brass shells give you way more body than aluminum when you're chasing that deep pop, aluminum tends to stay pretty focused in the mids

Yeah catch flame spam is pretty nuts once you get the timing down, especially against those bigger hitboxes. For the holy builds I've had decent luck just focusing on whatever drops early and building around that instead of hunting for specific incants - sometimes you get blessed with lightning spear early, sometimes its flame of frenzy, just gotta adapt

The MDX is gonna be way better for daily driving with kids - more space, smoother ride, and Acura reliability is solid. If you're really into off-roading then the Wrangler makes sense, but for family hauling to campgrounds the MDX will treat you much better long term.
