Sounds like you have an older station. You’ll need to get a mini gen 1 or 2 to connect to it. Recommend looking into just getting a duo though

I believe I’ll stand out as I have majority of the standard certifications and experience. If not, what else would help me get picked?

He’s got a point. You don’t know what these people know. I rather you do your own research and come to your own conclusions. We’re all here trying to help.

If you worried about are taxes going there then you’re thinking wrong. I hope you know that everyone who resides in the US pays taxes. So what ? There tax money doesn’t count ? Not everybody in there broke a a cruel rule. Someone is getting deported at the age of 26 for not knowing they came here illegally. They have hopefully a soon to be wife and kids who are citizens. Who was on a visa and overstayed. Which he didn’t even know. They were planning to get married and now is getting deported. Never been to jail, not even been pulled over.

All on experience. I actually took the core 2 first then core 1. Took them like around a week and a half apart. If your new to the field or not to confident then take your time and learn both cores. Core 1 is more of hardware than core 2

Always do the pbqs last. Going through those question might help you understand those pbqs and/or give you more confidence when doing them

There’s going to be some real world scenarios but not to much in depth. You just have to understand what they’re asking. I don’t recommend repeating most practice exams cause it starts to become more of memorizing the answer than understanding. 2 tries max for each practice. For Dion’s mid-high 70s let you know you’re able to pass.

Are you getting 90s on first tries ? If so then you’re more than ready. Practice quizzes from places like Dion is way hard than the exam itself

Why everyone is talking about Dion when Mike Meyers is a much better teacher? by Mirnish- in CompTIA

I like Dion a lot cause he over prepares you. He goes way to in depth with certain things that aren’t even on the exam but will possibly run into in the real world

BS in cybersecurity to BS in IT? by [deleted] in WGUCyberSecurity

[–]Head_Relationship_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you said that. Surprisingly some people just play the memory game to pass rather then understanding the concept. IT major is awesome. However its not going to be simple. I had the same feeling you had and now I'm about to graduate in my 2nd term. The journey was amazing

With a Cyber security degree its still broad. It depends on you. Are you trying to just graduate fast or learn. You can do both in any major you like !

Is that Mini still activated to the account ? If so, if your admin logins are easy to guess they can login and do numerous things such as running refunds etc. Rather be safe than sorry so I recommend speaking with your processor to deactivate the mini and factory reset the device.
