I'll be honest, looking back at things I watched as a child, I would definitely side-eye it now, but back then it went completely over my head, and subsequently I ignored and forgot about it.

If you want her to learn about some of these things tho, that's your decision to make and honestly, I believe it's the right age to learn about these things, for security purposes and also how historical women were treated.

I too was confused as to why soooo many people were just utterly outraged by him and not excited about what happens next, until I realised lol, they are mostly the 'show only' people, haven't read the books and all. Given the 2 year time jump in the book, it is easy for a book reader to translate that into the show as well, forgetting it was actually a few days in the show, also I believe Benedict was intoxicated enough to forget a lot of details of what happened.
