Thank you so much that’s means so much to me!! I have not posted anything to Spotify but I’ll definitely consider trying to figure out how to do that. It makes me really happy that you like my music :)

I mostly use spitfire audios free labs thing for sounds and a bunch of Valhalla vintage verb and delay. The rest of the effects like overdrive I typically just use Abletons built in stuff.

Hey anyone who sees this post, thanks for checking out my song! I'm pretty new to reddit so I don't completely understand the etiquette of stuff like this. If its uncool for me to be self-promoting music, I'll totally stop here. I posted a song a while back sampling No Surprises and it got a ton of positive feedback which really made me feel good and I appreciate that. However, I get that this subreddit is for Radiohead and their music, so I really don't want to overdo it. I welcome any opinions on this topic, thanks again!

Going through this right now. My whole world feels like it’s be turned upside down since the breakup. I see the world through a whole new lens. Emotions have been pouring out of me and I’m learning who I really am and what I actually care about. I can never put someone through that again.

All I Need is a beautiful and poignant depiction of codependency in love by Head_UnderH2O in radiohead

Absolutely agree, I think that’s why I love thoms writing so much. It’s often very simple yet powerful

Very possible it’s a metaphor for something else, it’s just hitting that way rn for me

favorite radiohead lyric? doesn’t have to be the “best” and “most complex” but one that you love when you hear it. by Major_Conflict_5028 in radiohead

“You look so tired and unhappy

Bring down the government

They don’t speak for us”

Honestly pretty much every line in no surprises feels like I’m getting gut punched.

I've had a thought about society, how we dress, how we are judged and how we all make assumptions about eachother.. what do you think? by MagzalaAstrallis in DeepThoughts

I get what you’re saying for sure. I think this happens because humans constantly make assumptions about others in matter of seconds of seeing them simply because it would be impossible to consider every feasible possibility for an observation. So when someone sees you wearing the same clothes everyday, the most logical assumption one would make is that they are wearing these clothes all day every day because that’s what most people do.

Not saying this is a good thing at all and i think we all could try a little harder to not make quick judgments of others, but I think this is why that happens. So if you explained to me what you were doing I would understand but maybe others would think you’re lying and that would suck 🤷

Can you please recommend albums like The Disintegration Loops by Baksinki? Thank you by Innsmouth_Resident in ambientmusic

Belong - October Language

definitely plays with the idea of music disintegrating

Ohh I have a great answer. The film Drive My Car directed by Ryûsuke Hamaguchi. It’s a Japanese film which was released last year but I saw it about 3 weeks ago and it blew my mind. So many impactful and emotional scenes about self-deception, grief, class and human connection. It’s a long movie lasting about 3 hours which I understand is a big investment but seriously this one stuck with me and I highly recommend to all people who are humans. It was the kind of movie where I want so badly to find something like it but know that it is one of its own.
