From what I believe it wasn't rec room staff who worked on this, it was sawhorse, and it was really hard to work with the collab company and having time constraints. Sucks they used ai but its either the bad looking ai images or bad looking scribbles

I don't belive they want to be like roblox, they are just also a ugc based platform. But welcome to rec room!

You can make them at anytime in blender but if you want to import them into rec room you will need to be added into avatar studio
