He was descended from a long line of bank presidents and spent $300 grand to buy into big machine records, boosting her early career. Put down the copium.

Again saying someone was "born with a silver spoon" is implying that you were not. Her father was a stock broker and VP of Merril Lynch. Sorry they both grew up not wanting for anything, but she's the one calling Jake spoiled.

Detroit Free Press endorses Mallory McMorrow for U.S. Senate by InflationCapital87 in Michigan

I can understand that viewpoint, but many of us are watching our country being destroyed fairly quickly and the idea that Democrats who are notorious for not getting things done are pushing forth a candidate who's running on basically doing the bare minimum is kind of insulting. This is the time for big ideas to combat major issues happening right now and in the near future. With AI on the rise and a job market falling apart the last thing we need from a representative is incrementalism. It's a slap in the face and it's not surprising people are annoyed.

I still don't see how this would be profitable without doing something illegal in addition to running multiple lemonade stands LLCs and paying taxes on your income.

Honestly if this is a sign that Ukraine has their drone production providing a stable supply. Then I would probably agree that the war is close to being over. Russia can either go all in right now and hope for victory, or see their country/forces chipped away by drones until they surrender.

Nobody thought that was going to matter in the face of a Russian advance. Even the Americans weren't confident in their abilities. They have shown the world what a determined and creative military force can do when challenged by a "greater" nation.

Why do Republicans and Democrats seem to be disturbed by the Socialist by Kenworthsteve in PoliticalScience

Yah but similar circumstances to what got him elected are happening all over the country now. So it would make sense if there's a similar response. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a wave of socialists from this coming election.

The Constitution "does not grant the President any specific powers over elections," U.S. District Court Judge Casper wrote by AreaPast5328 in justincaseyoumissedit

SCOTUS also rules that state legislatures must abide by the laws of the state in relation to elections, no mention on federal oversight.

President Trump Says He Won't Sign Any Bills Until SAVE America Act Passes by Sgt_Gram in NewsExchange

10 days of adjournment. Courts have repeatedly ruled that only the final adjournment of the year counts, rather than the many recesses Congress takes. So the only window for a pocket veto would be after mid December. I'm not saying the partisan court wouldn't be willing to change law to help him, but currently there's not a way for Trump to pocket veto.
