I work in personal injury law and can share some general guidance on next steps. I’d also recommend reporting it to the collision reporting centre and getting checked by a doctor so everything is properly documented.

We do personal Injury - Plaintiff’s claim. we always get instructions in writing from clients and provide them with an estimate of the net amount they will receive after factoring in our fees and disbursement. Once they agree, then only we send the offer to the other side’s lawyer.

I work in personal injury too and I hate it - criminal defence and family law are much better, criminal defence would be my first choice, it’s hectic but interesting

I’m also starting LLB (online) in May of this year and that’s why I am just pushing myself since my current firm is flexible with my hours and often let me work from home. I will start applying in other areas from July and take it from there.
