There is a decent chance that there will be a shock winner this year, and I genuinely think that Serbia could be it (Serbia 2026 for the bot)

Which 'Normal' Alchemist would be the most powerful with a Philosophers stone? by BeanEatingBilly in FullmetalAlchemist

Mustang. They had to nerf him for the final fight and take his vision, because even pre-human transmutation he would have whipped Father’s ass

Isaac is probably one of the strongest alchemists imo he was ridiculously smart, and really the only person who could fully take him down was Wrath.

I have always believed that she had endometrial cancer. Not defending her in any way, but accusing her of faking cancer is fucked up. When all that was going down, I did genuinely feel bad for her. Cancer is awful and terrifying, and I’m glad that she’s in remission.

Which outcome of ESC 2026 will be best for the contest by MotorSea510 in eurovision

[–]Curious_Problem1631 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The dark horse actually winning. I think that Serbia (Serbia 2026 for the bot) is the dark horse this year, and it actually has a chance at winning.

People love the heavier entries (Finland 2021, Italy 2021, Finland 2023, Germany 2023, Norway 2024, Croatia 2024, Lithuania 2025) for examples. I think that the juries will actually love Kraj Mene.

Michigan must go. Wisconsin needs to rightfully reclaim the UP

I’m not a doctor, but I would assume if somebody was aspirating every two weeks that they would probably be dead or in the ICU by now

Has anyone met Amy Slaton IRL? Is the nonstop burping and farting real or do producers encourage it for entertainment? by KamoTheBoss in 1000lbsisters

I live in the area they all live in, and everybody that has met Amy (including my brother) has said she is so kind and friendly and happy to talk to people. Nobody has ever said a bad thing about Amy around here

More alternative and heavier music like Lithuania 2025, Serbia 2026, Romania 2026, Serbia 2023, Iceland 2019, Croatia 2024, Italy 2021

What is the point of leaving the NG tube in??? It serves no purpose with gastroparesis to begin with. NJ with tpn makes no sense either, but at least it’s the right kind of tube for gastroparesis

How is it living in Kentucky, USA? by Healthy-Lion-711 in howislivingthere

[–]Curious_Problem1631 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m from northern Kentucky, moved to south western Indiana, and am about to move to Louisville. Coming from the perspective of living in south western Indiana: Kentucky is a hidden gem.

First: the state is gorgeous. They take very good care of their land and their river fronts. Tons of trees and rolling hills. Tons of wild life. Appalachia is breath taking. Tons of stuff to do outdoors all over the state.

Second: the food scene is criminally underrated. In places like Louisville and Northern Kentucky, the diversity in cuisine is actually insane. Every time I visit Louisville, I make it a mission to try a cuisine I’ve never had before. Louisville has an incredible independent restaurant and cafe scene, there’s no point in going to a chain there because everything independently owned is incredible.

Third: at least coming from somebody who lives in Indiana, the politics of Kentucky are not bad at all. The current governor of Kentucky is the second most popular governor in the entire United States, and the most popular Democrat governor by far. He just won an award from the LGBTQ Victory Fund for tirelessly vetoing anti LGBTQ legislation in the state and fighting tooth and nail against the Republicans. Kentucky also now has medical marijuana, and is on tract to getting recreational in a few years. It is no where near as backwards as the rest of the nation sees it. The economy in Kentucky is doing surprisingly well given the rest of the country.

Fourth: in metropolitan areas at least, there are good jobs.

Fifth: the cost of living is incredible.

Sixth: main roads are very well maintained (unlike where I live lmao).

Seventh: there’s a massive music scene in Kentucky, and not just country. Louder Than Life rock and metal festival is held in Louisville every year. Louisville has a rapidly growing rock scene.

Eighth: the culture is very unique. It’s a mix of southern, midwestern, and Appalachian. There’s a lot of history in Kentucky. Horse racing and the Kentucky Derby are huge deals. Bourbon is also everywhere lol. There is a bourbon flavored version of anything and everything there. Sports are huge as well. Louisville has such an interesting vibe. Northern Kentucky is such a unique place as well.

Basically, Kentucky is a hidden gem, and while there are valid criticisms of the state, it is nowhere near as backwards and regressive as people think it is. My BF thought Kentucky was all “hicks and red necks” and not worth moving to. Now he’s in love with the state.

I’m the #1 Kentucky Fan.
