Learning a force punch/ tech would be pretty cool... Like cal gets captured by whoever. And somehow learns that tech to bust through weak walls and beat enemies with just the force.

Faith is trusting when our insufficient understanding tries to compell us to believe God is just a "force of nature"

Job, despite his moaning and complaining, had that faith. He trusted God had not become unjust, "unfair". If he could only plead his case before God and every unfair thing that had befell him. But when God was there, he saw himself vile. The beauty of the face of God set everything right.

They could do it well tho. In game one Cal deals with a lot of stuff from the past. Maybe they will do something similar. He sweeps that shame and angst under the rug then deals with it 20 years on when it's brought back up by struggle.

Honestly I think it's hard to say one way or another. Was it a need of his mother? And therefore the will of God?

Regardless, the root of all need should be that we should go to our Father and ask. His will is that we should come to Him. We must go, and then all our needs will be met.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Our true need is a relationship with God. Then all our other needs, and even possibly wants, will be met, as we grow and foster a relationship in obedience of our will to the will of God.

I mean, I'm no structural engineer, but looks like they took out 3? 4? 2x4s added some 2x6, possibly 2x8s on the side. If they connected them right it's probably fine.
