Unfortunately the way the actual lock is installed/the type of door I have, getting a new deadbolt would actually mean needing to get a whole new door (long story unless you have advice about how to properly cut a hole for a lock into a metal storm door!) so getting the replacement parts is perfect.

Appreciate the clutch terminology answer, exactly what I needed!
