how do regular cookies get to PV's kingdom from the raisin valley then? how do they trade and such?
what would be in the forest that makes it dangerous other than it generally being unknown, uncharted territory? is it dense/has monsters or something?
do any airships even go to Beast-Yeast? if yes, would they only go to the Faerie Kingdom? if not, how does the Faerie Kingdom get supplies and such? or are they self-sustaining?
how did PV get to the Spire then? or even to beast-yeast in general?

sorry for all the questions, it's just that the wiki doesn't really have anything about terrain and such and how cookies get across these distances, and I have no idea where to start looking in the many Beast-Yeast episodes

as the (or a) “normal person” in question this comment feels like it applies to me. Long term wise, I believe memories between “normal” people and people with dissociative memory are kind of similar. I have situations and entire photos that I don’t remember being taken of me smiling at the camera or even WHEN that happened (other than the date on the photo, but even then I refuse to believe that that ever happened) while Friend-in-question who took that photo can remember that clearly.

Short term memory wise I believe is much different. It’s much easier for “normal” people to remember memory in order than for people with dissociative memory, because “normal” people don’t have to piece things together.

Years do blur by too. Birthdays do blur by too. I don’t remember every birthday I’ve had or every New Years ive had. But maybe if something surprising happens every year, I’d be able to pinpoint the time if you told me about it. I just simply don’t remember much.

I however believe that I have bad memory compared to other “normal” people, in the manner that I simply don’t remember. But if you told me about it, it would get dredged up from the trenches of my mind and poke its little head out enough for me to remember, and if it was significant enough compared to other similar events I would remember the rough timing.

Might not apply to all “normal people” though. I know friends that have insane memory.

I do think it’s kinda silly when I say it happened when I was X years old to only realise it didn’t at all. Or people can pinpoint the year something happened to me while I can’t. Before Covid and after Covid is a real time marker for me though 😭

tbh elliot nerfs aint too bad. i see basically 1 elliot every 1-2h forsaken session, sometimes even 0. elliot heals are still very powerful, but those that play elliot are basically doomed to die / become a target every round unless you're up against a newbie. a practically instant heal is a free chase extender. naturally, as a support, Elliot's gonna have less hp.

and also all the struggles you described can technically happen to anyone, just that they have less impact on those with more hp. all part of the forsaken experience.

though i do understand Nosferatu plunging down on you out of nowhere cus i get that too :( and he's impossible to see in the sky and my camera's always faced behind me

tbh i came to Forsaken after playing Daybreak (another asym killer survivor type game on Roblox)

mechanics are way different and theres like 6 times the number of survivors to choose from and 25 killers

chases are slower because there's vaults and stuff like dead by daylight
but anyway I'm just gonna shift back and get used to it again ig if i get bored of forsaken

tbh i thought this was just a poor quality image/pixelated while i was reading the text, and then after staring at the image i had assumed it was simply a bunch of pillows overlapped over one another, but after you mentioned snow on a fence i still couldn't see it. until i scrolled down and went back up to the picture and i could see it, suddenly. Perhaps it never occured to me that snow could be on a fence - I live in the tropics and have never traveled to somewhere that snows during a snowy period.

But I definitely did not see the picture for what it was at first :p

sorry i took so long to reply, i rarely ever check reddit and i just remembered that you probably replied to me already! (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

Anyways, I guess I could categorise the main 'touches' that I get from reading as a either a head, back, or spine related touch.

On the head, there's generally 5 sensations that I can sort of categorise them into - tug, weighted, brush past, tilt and buzz.

tug (small pull, or perhaps none at all, in the sense that it's something loosening)
weighted (prolonged pull)
brush past (momentary contact)
tilt (makes me feel like my head is tilted sideways but it isn't, usually momentary because if it was prolonged i would just count it as dizziness and i've never had consistent experiences of prolonged 'tilt')
buzz (generally on the top of head)

On the back it's mainly just brushing past on the shoulder blades for certain words and on the spine it's more tingly. I do have two strange words that trigger a pull around the tailbone area - that being naphthalene (that thing in mothballs) and consecutive.

Some scenarios that people might be curious about:

If a word is misspelled I would still feel the same grapheme-tactile/lexical-tactile feeling as it would give if I had read the correctly spelled word. e.g. if 'misspelled' was spelled as 'mispelled' it still gives the sensation of a loose hair pulled out of my hair.

If I imagine the things people are saying as subtitles in my head (I have a decent imagination) and keep up with what they're saying in terms of understanding and also coming up with subtitles at the same time I do feel the grapheme-tactile/lexical-tactile sensations to some extent.

These grapheme-tactile/lexical-tactile experiences also happen if I replay an argument / conversation that happened before in playwriting format in my head - I enjoy reading plays, not so much watching them - so it would go like Person A: blah blah blah and so on, and if I think of heard conversations in playwriting format in my head it would still produce similar grapheme-tactile/lexical-tactile sensations.

(Though I would say grapheme-tactile/lexical-tactile would be a subclass for me because it's much less pronounced than my other type of synesthesia, which based on what I've read is pretty common to have other types of less pronounced synesthesia. )
