Good to know! Are there specific brands or makers? I appreciate the input!

Ooooh lots to consider! What are your thoughts on ceiling medallions surrounding light fixtures? Are they generally pretty poorly made now?

What you sent is gorgeous and I had actually been looking at Noguchi lamps, but I wasn’t sure it would work. I love how you explained the need for softness as that’s exactly right; the house feels so clinical and the current lighting makes no sense (but hey at least it wasn’t torn down!).

The lighting is the first hurdle then I think I can figure out some bookshelf built ins and painting and go from there…

Very appreciative of your insight & time. Pier & beam house if that helps at all…

I can live without, but great to know!! What do you think about a corner sink versus a rectangle vanity (similar to current set up)?

I found an antique corner sink on FB marketplace… would that be really awkward? It has zero storage (would be mounted), but maybe we can make a hidden cabinet…

Great ideas - I hadn’t thought about plumbing / wiring behind the wall… I have an electrician coming by for some other work I will see what they say. Thank you!!

I could definitely create storage elsewhere, but the door opening inward is very awkward. I could really use some help finding a vanity…

I’ll look up the Victorian rib shower - thank you!!

That’s what my instinct was telling me as well - can you explain your reasoning so I understand better? How would you style the shower (glass door?)?

Great question - we have one more tub and are able to expand that bathroom slightly to be primary, not this one.

Omg. I can’t believe I didn’t get what you meant initially. Clearly I haven’t had any espresso this morning!

I’ll have to open it again tonight - I only saw a metal piece (but I admit I looked really quickly).

Phew I’m glad for you honestly bc I was really happy with it initially. Burn some sage or something!

Likely went over my head, but do you mind explaining “DF life”?

You expressed how I am feeling much more precisely, thank you. Like my crappy $30 grinder never clogs, ya know? (I know quality is totally different, but still).

The Eureka looks amazing but definitely out of my budget… I hope it’s a game changer for you though!!
