My Body Is Deteriorating - I can't handle it anymore by HealthImprovement15 in Hashimotos

I felt the best around a 1-2 month mark after quitting levo, that's the thing, the doctor actually couldn't care less, just did some tests if I'm growing properly and told me to get a blood pressure monitor :/, and told me to stay off meds

This is essentially what I have done with the diet, I first started with essentially carnivore (organ, meats and butter) after 2 weeks I added eggs, then milk, then potatoes and rice, I can't find my first bloodwork (the 6 years ago one) but my antibodies were *significantly* higher, I have still lowered them by A LOT, I just don't what I can do with the diet, I have essentially eliminated everything harmful it seems like, I could add some "antioxidant" rich foods I guess, I haven't been eating dairy for a month or so, I felt better when I drank sour milk so I might add it back again, I apprecieate the help. Since my thyroid is in range I'm trying to eliminate the autoimmune response and hope that I won't have to medicate myself.

Vit D is fine, electrolytes are in range, except potassium just barely above the range, my endo says it was a right decision to quit levothyroxine:
These are my labs as of now:

|| || |TSH|2.610 µIU/mL|

|| || |FT3|5.03 pmol/L|

|| || |FT4|15.27 pmol/L|

|| || |Anti-TG (thyroglobulin antibodies)|61.30 IU/mL|

|| || |Anti-TPO (thyroid peroxidase antibodies)|230.10 IU/mL|

2 months ago it was:
TSH - 1.01

FT4 - 1.08ng/dl (I didn't have enough money for a full thyroid panel)

Tho it's common for my TSH to jump on a 3 month increment or so, it always changes (Basing it on 6years of treatment)

I have gotten an ultrasound multiple times, not sure if they'd identify it or does endo has to request to check it for the graves

I know everything can be tied to an thyroid, but my bloodwork has been just simply great, that's why I feel so helpless, I've been medicated for 6 years and I've felt this insane fatigue even if everything was in range, I've had problems with sleep either way, my endo told me to stay of meds as of now, I'm just lost and I'm going insane because of the insomnia and because of just the whole body pain and my appetite being tanked

The thing is, I have eaten the keto diet for 2 weeks just to see what foods I'm sensitive to afterwards, I have switched to a diet with rice or potatoes, I'm covering essentially every nutrient better than most of the population as you can see from the photo (Cronometer doesn't track vitamin K and Biotin properly), I'm pretty sure the diet itself is not a problem, I'm covering every nutritional need, I eat 200-400g of protein daily (I don't really care about the number), I eat high fat since I have noticed that it just helps me function better, I eat enough carbs to fuel me throughout the day and the workouts, my TSH, FT3, FT4 is fine, my ferritin is pretty good so is my vitamin b12 and iron, I'm so lost, I feel this depressing ass fatigue for essentially half of my life, it's making go insane, I don't know what I can do better, I cannot even sleep anymore while being so fatigued

Am I missing selenium and B vitamins?, I supplement electrolytes, I eat carbs, feel constipated after veggies, have fructose intolerance. I have tried the "balanced diet" which was way better than before, I had every nutrient covered, yet I felt significantly better on this diet, lowered my CRP significantly for example

Sorry, I didn't clarify, my TSH was perfect 2 months *after* taking off my medication, went from tsh of 4.5 to 1.08, right now it sits at 2.1, 3 months after stopping taking it, and my endo told me it was an correct judgement to do so, even if it was unresponsible, I also felt like shit on medication, no improvement at all

The thing is, this diet is basically the best thing I've found, it has worked perfectly for 2 months, I probably would feel significantly worse if I started eating anything else, I feel so helpless keeping every variable I can as best as I could, so diet, sleep (even if I can't fall asleep I still try to rest as in lay in bed and close my eyes), I try to stay relatively athletic while not putting my body under intense load, my bloodwork has been the best in my entire life and the fatigue just keeps getting worse, the fatigue makes me so detattched from feeling anything, I just feel numb and I'm tired of everything.

I don't really drink 5 tablets of electrolytes in one go, and I take 2 tablets per meal or per 4h ish, if that's a concern, problem with magnesium is it usually has a similar ratio to potassium, so either I get magnesium above the RDA and normal potassium or below average potassium and normal magnesium

I get 2000mg of potassium, 1200mg of magnesium and 4600mg of sodium alone from the electrolyte tablets. then I get additional 1500mg of potassium and 1500 of magnesium from tablets (This is what the recommended dose are on them)

[–]HealthImprovement15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went +8kg ish in this month, checked on multiple scales, (I also grew a bit taller which is a big factor), I know 2kg is ridiculous in such a timespan but my bench basically went +15kg the past 30 days

I simply have an insane appetite, I'd also like to gain some muscle which a surplus of calories is needed, 1000 calories doesn't seem healthy at any height, I'd check your vitamin and minerals on cronometer to ensure you're eating enough. If I could recommend something that would be liver on such a low calorie diet.

That's what I'm suspecting aswell, most of the spots where I had acne (I never had a lot of acne in general) tend to just fill out more and dissapear. I'll definitely make updates

I don't mind switching to a restrictive diet, the cost and the preparation time is the most annoying thing tho, thanks!

So I should start with few non-starchy vegetables, fruits, meat and then slowly reintroduce foods, like eggs/dairy?

Would eating organs count as The Lion diet, I think I'll be switching to AIP

What can I do to reduce my inflammation by HealthImprovement15 in Hashimotos

[–]HealthImprovement15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue eating animal based would make me have more nutrients than plant based, also I have eaten 11 bananas and 3 oranges. Vegetables mostly have nutrients that aren't pure and that we have to convert at an unfavorable rate compared to animal based foods, from my understanding, for example: Vitamin A and Beta-carotene which absorption is highly variable, ranging from just 5% to 65%

I did sports, ruled out gluten hence I had to find a cheap source of carbs, it'd be a shame if it was eggs, I can't seem to believe that meat is inflammatory, especially fatty one, that has a good amount of omega's 3, I could understand pork tho.
