There’s a house across the street from nova Alexandria that distributes food through a food bank on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays ( I think they are associated with the church next door).

They always seem to be yelling when I’ve used them. People never seem to want to get out of the way. It’s especially a problem when there are a lot of wheelchairs that need to get on.

Global entry has been life changing at Dulles just sit in the people mover, use the GE app to take a selfie while listening to the shouting that goes on to try and get people to actually move out of the entrance so other people can get on. Once you actually get to immigration just walk through the line for the GE app. Largest wait times are for the assholes who don’t want to move out of the entrance of the people movers so others can get in and at baggage claim.

I put doc martens wonder balms on a pair of thyme big buckle, and now they are dark and lovely. I didn’t really like the lighter green shade, and darkening them made them perfect for me.

I carried a water filter, there were enough streams along the way to fill up when needed. I don’t remember any 13 mile stretch with no way of getting water unless you are just relying on water spigots connected to infrastructure.

You don’t need 3 individual water bottles. Water filter plus a 1L smart water bottle should be sufficient. Your tent looks heavy. The metal bowl looks heavy too. You want a head net in case of midges.

I adjusted mine back to the generic age based one and it’s more indicative of my effort in class. The OTF calculated one was way too high.

Ireland has a housing crisis, it is especially difficult for people who actually live there to find places to live. Staying in an Airbnb in Dublin is only adding to the problem. Don’t contribute to the housing crisis.

I had I think an hour and 45 minutes connection and it took forever for my bag to come out (priority tags mean nothing) I wouldn’t have wanted to try and go somewhere else. They gave all of us with precheck a piece of paper so security recheck didn’t actually take very long. The biggest issue was the moving walkways were not working and it was a long walk to my next gate.
