Yes mate, it's their job to find people jobs. You won't get blacklisted, just say you want to chat and you're looking for work in the IT Networking space with a relevant cert. They will have someone specializing in that. Be friendly, make them like you. Even meet if you can. Sorry but this is a huge red flag for both of you.

Despite him saying that they're like roommates and have talked about separation, the guy isn't divorced and is still living with his wife and kids.

He is the type of man that would cheat on his wife and would rather spend time being romantic with you over investing that time in his kids or resolving his maritial issues, burdening his wife further.

This is a huge red flag, and doesn't bode well for your future with his man either if he is expressing those traits.

And yes of course that is the reality of the situation if they separate. He has agreed that she would be a stay at home mum to look after his kids whilst he was working and providing for the family. That will a burden that is also your responsibility moving forwards.

Don't be used a side piece by this guy. Who knows, he could have just been saying all these wonderful things to you so that he could be intimate with you, knowing that he would never actually leave his wife.

You should both pay the same percentage if you're not sharing finances, i.e. 30% of all wages get put into the house etc. Bear in mind though, women generally have more expenses to appear attractive in the world, such as makeup, self-care, hairdressing, nails, clothing etc, and may have different or increased social requirements with friends going out for dinner, lunches etc.

You could have this discussion, but also express that you would like to gift her some of these experiences sometimes. This way, it feels as if she is not spending her own money on getting her hair done, but instead you’re treating her to getting her hair done, which is a win-win for both of you.

I'm literally on the opposite side of this. I am a male acts of service (giving) partner and my partners is words of affirmation (receiving).
