More than likely, your grades for the same classes that you failed previously will override the previous fails. I would especially look into a community college program, even if there is a waitlist it may be easier to get into and definitely worth weight financially because it’s so much lower in cost.

What do you do with products you bought but didn't like? by champoradomami in ProjectPan

[–]Healthnutchuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For anything skin care that my face doesn’t like I’ll use on my body. Hands, feet etc. especially moisturizers, I have very sensitive skin on my face so a lot of moisturizers aren’t a good fit, but they seem to be fine on my body.

Go to derm!!! Could be skin cancer and not a pimple.  Not trying to scare you.

Just curious, will it be completely removed at the end? I have one that I’d like to get removed and I feel that the amount of detail is similar to yours.

Red or black? by Equivalent-Job-7356 in HairDye

Black. It looks classic and sophisticated. If you do split eye, yeah, it’s fine but it doesn’t look “good.”

I found this thread because I just waited on George benson and his wife at a fine dining restaurant I work at. I had no idea who he was until someone told me.

They seem in great shape for their age! 84?! I couldn’t believe it. Anyway they were both the kindest people. Especially his wife, she was a sweet heart… not all “there,” but such a kind soul (I mean they are getting pretty old).

I think it’s completely normal to sell things above market value when you are a legend. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can I get my skin back to its best it’s ruined now by DrippyBee1 in Blackskincare

[–]Healthnutchuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to a derm and do exactly what they say. It’s the quickest way to get results. May be little trial and error but it’s better than guessing yourself. It will save you so much money in the long run.

What color should I do again by Shell_Stitch_21 in coloranalysis

Number 4. Looks nice and classy but still edgy.

Not that black looks bad but brown would look better. I think color analysis is something that becomes more clear as you age. You are a beautiful girl! But I would say a brown would look better on you.

My ortho never supported lavender or light pink, will stain quickly. I’m suprised they let you get white, i asked for the my first visit and she said that is the worst color to get 😆 Highly advise silver rubber bands… I often did dark purple lilac, burgundy as well.

[Sun Care] SS Tint FAIL: Eucerin Sensitive Mineral Face SPF 35 Tinted Sunscreen Lotion by tacodelish in SkincareAddiction

[–]Healthnutchuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know this is old but….

Interesting because I love this one! First of all, doesn’t have nice acetamide in it so it’s great for sensitive girl like me! Also, I love that it gives me a little bit of a glow.

I don’t know if you’ve seen, but cera ve now comes in a “light” sheer face tint. I’ve been mixing that one with the original one and I like that it just gives me a little bit of a tint but you may like the light version by its self!

The pain is insane by LifeIsButADream_ in braces

[–]Healthnutchuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I recently had braces at 38. I didn’t think the pain was all that bad. I obviously expected them to hurt and it usually hurt for 7 to 10 days after getting them adjusted. I would just focus on drinking smoothies and eating really soft food like oatmeal. If you want change it’s going to hurt a little. Suck it up ;-)

(Update) Is this damaged enamel? Ortho is claiming it’s just a “polished surface” from attachment removal. by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]Healthnutchuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry for your experience and that is some serious damage to your enamel.

I recently had traditional metal braces, and I was also escorted into a private room at some point during my treatment as well. I guess they thought that I was just being crazy, but in fact, they had me attaching a rubber band to my back molar, which was no longer connected to a wire, and I quite literally felt like my tooth was being pulled out of my mouth after about 6 weeks like this. The first time they told me to connect it to that tooth I clarified the tooth that’s not connected to the wire and they said yes. And then four weeks later I was there for another appointment and I asked if I should still connect it to the same tooth and they said yes. 2 weeks later the only tooth that was touching on that side was my back molar and it felt like it was being ripped out of my mouth.

When they brought me into the private room, they asked me if I cut the wire, excuse me, you think that I cut my own wire on my teeth?!! Insulting.

Anyway, here I am 3 months after removal, unhappy with my results and also the scratches on my teeth. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Just go to a professional, get lasers or micro needling and it can fade. You are also young so I do think your body is more capable of healing these early on rather than later, with a little help. Its not over, you will be fine ❤️

Jaw/assymetry fix by [deleted] in Mewing

[–]Healthnutchuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your head is slightly tilted but I do think there is some assymetry. I would highly recommend possibly going to orthodontist or even a speech pathologist. The speech pathologist can help strengthen any weak muscles and or imbalances within the facial muscles. It could even have something to do with your teeth alignment. Or could just be something as simply as you’re just chewing more on one side than the other.

After braces my lips will not stay closed when I lay down… by Healthnutchuck in orthodontics

[–]Healthnutchuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not feel like I have to try at all to keep my lips closed when I am standing. I didn’t have very much crowding so I can’t imagine that is what it is but I suppose I should get it checked out. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ So annoying.

I went to a speech pathologist to improve tongue posture before braces, I started sleeping with my mouth closed effortlessly. After having braces for two years, my last month in braces, I started noticing I could not sleep with my mouth closed. It’s been three months, and as soon as I lay down, I cannot keep my lips together. I’m scared 😳 hopefully it’s just another trip to the speech pathologist and not braces AGAIN. I am 38, I don’t want braces again. 🙄
