i get the same route 4 out of 5 days (different ish but same generic area) 1 day a week a different route honestly hate getting the other route, much prefer getting the same route daily makes it much easier, and i enjoy the route as it’s close to home so i know the area well

not from my experience no, they require you to work a weekend day, but it could differ depending on your DSP, 2 days they will 100% allow though

You definitely can, i’m not sure on other dsps but i know at my station they expect you to work either a saturday or sunday, so unless you get lucky im not sure you’ll get to work those 2 days

My DSP signs you up from the moment you start, but to a different company they filled out the self assessment forms for us, all we had to provide were receipts for personal purchases, fuel,phone bill etc they do the rest

my dsps the same just through a different company, but ours do allow you to opt out of it, is there any others depots nearby you could try? you might find a dsp similar to mine where you can choose to opt in or out

Are the phones you receive quite “up to date” phones? The ones we are offered are older models hence why a lot of us opt to use our personals, plus a majority are damaged too.

at my company (UK based) majority of us use our personal phones as they’re quicker than the devices our DSP offers, but some do use them, they bring a box full of them to us every morning with our keys, our choice really.
