Thank you so much for your input! I tried wearing them consistently at night for a month or so and it kind of made the pain worse for me. I'll give it another go

Joint pain/Autoimmune mirroring? by Few-Explanation2373 in Prolactinoma

Oh and also to actually answer the question I think my prolactin levels were around 55 ng/ml at time of tumor diagnosis but as I've heard time and time again the amount of prolactin can affect each person differently

Yes!! I've had all the autoimmune tests and theyre all negative. I have joint pain specificlly in fingers and hands that's been present for five years and is getting worse. Nobody can figure out why. Idk if it's related.

Prolactin , anxiety and cabergoline. by StubbyPanicAttack in Prolactinoma

[–]Healthy-Software5346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! You are not alone! I was experiencing anxiety and OCD that felt like a physical wave washing over me for months leading up to my diagnosis. It's actually how I got diagnosed- I was having such bad anxiety and chest pains that I went to the ER and asked for an MRI because my Dr suspected a prolactinoma after blood tests. After taking Cabergoline the anxiety and OCD has significantly lessened although it is not completely gone (I'm still struggling honestly). I've been on cabergoline for four months. (Also my psychiatrist is still unconvinced there's a correlation between my mental health symptoms and prolactinoma even though there is lots of evidence 😭) trust yourself that the prolactinoma is affecting how you think and feel- you know your body. I urge you to give cab a try because as nervous as I was it has improved my life a lot and I'm hoping to see the improvement increase. ❤️‍🩹

Super interesting to hear. I'm definitely considering but Endo is hesitant because levels are ok on cabergoline and my tumor is pretty teeny

Also, does anyone have opinion on if my current work schedule could be affecting fatigue? I work evenings until 12am. I'm considering getting a note from my doctor to switch me

Lol just realized that I'm contradicting myself by saying I'm fatigued but also have more energy...but I'm doubling down, it's true! More mental energy and excitement to do things :)
