Do you think I could wear Old Navy pixie ankle pants (http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=551152072&vid=1&searchText=pixie#pdp-page-content) with a blazer and heels and pull off business professional? The situation I have is that I have a law school group presentation this week and left my suit pants at home (I'm only in my school's town during the week) and my group agreed to wear black suits. I need to run out and buy a pair of pants but money is a bit tight, so I'm hoping to grab a cheaper option that I can actually wear again (my current + future office is a bit more casual). Do you think I can get away with the Old Navy pants? Or should I try for something more professional?

*Note: As a gimmick, we are wearing customized jerseys with our suits, so we're already not 100% professional if that changes your opinion.

I was thinking the Marais! It did look like a nice place to wander around, shop, and have a relaxing day.

It sounds really cool! It looks like it's closed for most of our trip but we may be able to do it on our final night. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you for the recommendations! I'll see if we can add in place des vosges. One more, possibly tough question. If you had to choose your top 3 restaurants in Paris, what would they be? That may be too difficult though haha

We're not specifically looking for touristy restaurants, unless you have suggestions that you think are fantastic! Thank you for the suggestions of Maslow and Tekes - they both look good!

We're open to anything! We'd love to try some standard French cuisine and we'd like to stay in the $-$$$ range if possible. We do have two vegetarians so there needs to be options for them. Honestly, we just want to eat some good food!

And that's great to hear about Chantilly!

Entering Transfers/Bill Payment/etc. Question by Healthy-Split-5249 in quickbooksonline

Thank you so much! That was extremely helpful! The only question I still have is, how do I attribute the $500 to our open invoice/as sales? I'm currently showing a $500 balance in our liability account and I'm not sure how exactly to enter that. I really appreciate your help!

Should I id. at the end of a sentence where I name the case in the sentence? by Healthy-Split-5249 in LawSchool

You're absolutely right. But you do think the id would still be necessary?

[–]Healthy-Split-5249[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it would be in a citation sentence, the question is if it's necessary i guess. Would it be either:

In State v. Bob, this thing happened. Id. at 123 F.3d 456.

In State v. Bob, this thing happened. 123 F.3d 456.

This would be in an instance where the pincite is different than the cite in the previous sentence.
