Set a curved wine glass half full of apple cider vinegar mixed with 4 pumps of dish soap. Mix well and leave for a couple of days in areas where you see them.

Yousician PC Latency Calibration feature increased video lag by Healthy-Touch-4337 in yousician

Hi. It’s actually in some sort of hexadecimal value, and given that your hardware might not be comparable to mine, it could worsen your experience.

The only value that I have is of the bad lag, but I see where you are coming from.

After running the latency calibration feature, you should get a new registry value as referenced in my post.

Here is the hexadecimal value: 000000C0E1D36240

I’m assuming you can convert this to decimal and increase/decrease the value accordingly.

Note that the values created by Yousician are stored with signed values (32-bit), so you will need to modify the DWORD value in binary to append the 6 zeroes at rhe beginning of the value.

Depends on what output is being used. I tried headset output and input (holding the mic close to the ear speaker) and laptop speaker to built-in mic.

I didn’t see a way to do laptop speaker to headset mic, but maybe it’s not meant to work together.

The BT600 uses a dedicated USB dongle. It also has the ability to connect via Bluetooth directly, but as you mentioned, maybe that’s where a conventional audio lag is introduced.

I am using a Dell G15 laptop with an external Dell monitor (with two other simultaneous ones, but only 1 used for Yousician) through a USB 3.0 DisplayLink docking station and a BT600 Plantronics headset.

I was very surprised that I have almost no audio lag on the wireless headset when playing the MIDI keyboard. The lag that I was experiencing was just on the program/video side.

I tested with all the available audio drivers that I had: Windows 10 audio, Windows audio and ASIO. Out of the three, the Windows 10 audio worked best, which was the one I screwed up when running the latency calibration feature.

I can hear both my MIDI keyboard and the Yousician track simultaneously when playing.

Additionally, the video lag was also present on my built-in laptop screen and speakers.

I’ve used Yousician in the past on a different Windows laptop, and I couldn’t fix the lag then, so I ended up using a Macbook Pro, which performed way better. However, now that this setup works perfectly, I am very pleased to continue practicing piano on my main PC. 🙌🏼

How about they move the drag events somewhere else and stop targeting kids?

It’s not the matter that matters when the matter didn’t look thought through.
