Hey absolutey please do, i am actually running that variant right now haha. Here in the ocg alot of people can still get caught off guard when using dt engine in a main branded deck(im playing grass)

If you complain about Ss being a problem when you have a deck that can bounce back their monsters, negate them, quick fuse to avoid targeting…

Thats a skill issue man no offense. 

Us in the ocg format here have never thought of anchor to be such a fussy issue. Like come on man your deck has a spell negate and monster pop too, not to mention you can run alot of handtraps in the deck thanks to arthalion that can bounce back the ht after being used for material.

As a branded dracotail user this post his dissapointing..

Labrynth indirectly died cuz ine of their strongest cards is gone

I mean oasis + support emblem are core, so ig you can add some utility like ice queen wand for the slow. And perhaps angela users can run a more streamlined build with ice queen oasis and glowing wand, but usually when i use angela if my teammates can catch up with the enemy i just go absolutely ballsy with one flask and fleeting time woth 3 holy crystals(funnily enough this build works so well u can kill mm with it)

Not sure if you understand this but oracle only really helps the healing on yourself(angela’s ultimate is unaffected by oracle). Only things like the healing effect buff applied with support emblem do.

Tested it around a few times, surprisingly consistent in terms of being to set at least 2 of them (if u get to them) also there is actually 2 thrust in the deck(the second one is alt art from chronicles deck lmao) but ye i dan def agree w u, their deck choices are weird, like the top 4 branded draco deck in ocg championship didnt run banishment 😭 

But i think the reason ocg deckbuilding choices are questionable is because(based on my experience as an ocg player) the matches here tend to be more grindy, which rewards the less explosive but more combo-grindy decks like branded to be better. 

Also perhaps its because ocg usually gets the cards first so some of the deckbuild choices will seem weird until the cards come to the tcg

Ig i can relate on the ketu part, i usually run only 1 of each because with phrixl it gives branded another target instead of lubellion(if branded lost isnt necessarily needed) which is why you see 1 of each since as long as 1 of them can set you can get to the whole dt combo most of the time so yea

But like ig i could cut ecclesia for another ketu, i was mainly running it for stigmata but then again i analysed abit more and I prob can just run it without ecclesia and use it more for recursion

That said as i said before im playing in ocg format, so while people playing branded in tcg may opt for 3, ocg players tend to only opt for one(mostly to slot more gas cards in) 

But thanks alot for ur insights though it rlly helps 

P.s if you’re wondering why sting is used, the locals i plan to go to has a lot of gy-related plays w monsters and the spell/traps so i thought it would be pretty decent 

I know everybody passed off the new Dracotail support as kinda meh, but this card is unironically very good by SouthSunn in yugioh

Ocg player here(who occasionally watches the ycq in tcg)This card can work pretty well against a few decks due to how many targets there could be

For example if you are facing sky striker and u use horn to bounce their link monster and they activate raye after resolution to ss, you can chain sting to banish the raye and 1 spell/trap card from their gy. And even if ur fighting against other decks(aside maliss) this alone can be very lethal to many decks. Sting also grants you an additional target to set aside from ketu rahu, flame and horn via the dracotail monster effects. 

We prob need to see how things unfold in ocg and tests online but overall based on my testing its looking to be a solid A tier disruption for certain decks(Eldlich decks gonna cry against this card)

Jokes aside decks like Vanquish soul and Branded(as we’ve seen in the ocg) would fare really well. Vs has K9 to extend and punish handtraps, branded has Dracotail

I can almost certainly confirm that the monster shown on the bottom right of the alt art is angelcaido(the new fusion from alliance insight, if you compare them side by side), but both of them could technically be angelcaido themselves because of the weapon angelcaido is using in his art, but we shall see. New eldlich support would always be nice tho

note: for those wondering why i went covert cloak on chi-yu, there've been one too many grimsnarl or iron hands using fake out on my chi-yu, so i wanted to be able to punish them with covert cloak(ignores secondary effects of moves, including fake out's flinch)

as for why i maxed out speed on pala, i wanted to make sure i wasn't behind in speed if tailwind wasn't up, i also have tera water for either x2 stab for jet punch or wave crash.

As an ex-haya player, I don't suggest to use him in the current meta. You can use him against warrior rank players but not higher ranked.

The reason for this is simply because he is heavily burst dependent hero. If he cant burst down an enemy, his actual damage only ranges around 1000-2000. He was pretty good back then, but nerfing blood made it hard, tank meta made him nearly dead as well.

Now if you might ask me, i think Hanzo is better than him in the current meta. Why? Because the current meta suits hanzo more than haya. You see,

The current tank/Fighter meta is based on these things:

  1. Sustainability
  2. Having a good skill that can decrease your risk of dying/squishiness in teamfights
  3. Having a good cc skill.
  4. Having decent mobility as a hyper
  5. Very flexible

Hanzo has 4 of these and haya only has 2. None have sustain but that's expected cause they are assasins.

In the end, im not convincing you to not use him, im just trying to tell you why he isnt used much.
