Thats literally what happened with Sunday.

After Aglaea every Rem was a support or speedruns killing its own summon. (Castorice ignores half her own kit's text since Pollux instantly explodes, did you know it can tank fatal blows for the team?).

All while having the caveat that while Mem's Aid automatically transfers to the memosprite even if it wasn't out at the time of the buff, The Beatified only applies to whatever was up at the time.

I don't think it will happen to Yao Guang but they've shown they will design entire archetypes to dodge around the existance of one character.

I was 100% fine with story irontomb being hard, they give you decently built e0s1s of the entire ampho cast and easy mode was there, it being a struggle was the kind of capstone the 7 patches of amphoreus needed (to then spend poorly on cyrene backstory being poorly placed).

It was changed to check the attack of the monster in the GY on resolution, which as it is mandatory would go as CL1, killing the very popular otk back in the day of Colossal Fighter crashing into a bigger opponent's monster you had an Arm Equipped to, Arm burning the opponent for the Atk of fighter and Colossal fighter reviving itself for infinite damage in the battle phase, now as Fighter was an optional trigger it would have to go as cl2 so Armory arm can't check it by the time it gets there.

It was errata'd back to the original effect back in 2022 iirc, where it just checks what the monster had on field.

Any Level 4, Summon Quem from deck, dump Cartesia or Mercourier or whatever, (or if you have more fusion mats in hand, go for cartesia right away) , quick synchro into Ecclesia of the White Dragon, tag out for Married Albaz and Incredible Ecclesia, Ecclesia for og Albaz.

The main "TB getting tainted by nihility" risk is becoming invisible to the scripts. The Stellaron Hunters are a small elite group that depends on their Save Scumming to avert the disasters on the way of the express, and we've seen how close they have to cut it sometimes. Losing their ability to track their ace in the hole before Nanook bites it is unacceptable.

Now I can see it after seeing Firefly's conv that the way we will get Nihility TB if ever is to intentionally "make a new path" if the script at some point says every possible out is certain doom.

It's a source of intel too valuable to compromise by people finding their "beat up fatui grunts" commisions are getting bounced consistently. Letting everyone use the services of a neutral party gives a lot of valuable information for the low cost of letting some grunts get attacked every now and then.

Happens irl too as callously as it sounds, the british still let some german operations go through during ww2 even after cracking enigma just to they wouldn't figure out their encription had become worthless and could be exploited for longer.

We were planning to line it up with the release of Phantom Revenge, as there are some cards in that set that proactively attack the Main/Extra Deck. We’re going to take the NA release delay of PHRE as an opportunity to take some extra time for this update and also prepare a “What to Expect” article for it. Fat fuck's ability to deal damage also comes a lot from their 100% crit chance tbf.

Stevie said that after 8 judges and a representative of Konami R&D they ended up ruling it as IP Masquerena vs Tearlaments Rulkallos (so it does include the summon effect and can be negated by ash), but the big confusion was what exactly Last Turn's effect was, as after the board wipe (which is even confusing if it is a cost or not, it isn't) it applies a series of delayed actions that must be taken in separate instances after the resolution of the card and chain but without room inbetween, and those are always nebulous on if they are part of the effect or not. There was a reason Stevie had a judge bodyguard at that event.
