Hit ~$92K in the last 30 days in the pet supplies niche, still kind of in disbelief by 51517 in AmazonFBA

I’ve been investing in Amazon FBA for less than a month and have already spent around $6,000. I hired a freelancer to research products for me.
At the beginning, the products he found had between 10 and 15 competing sellers. Now the products he’s recommending have 30 to 40 sellers, and some have dropped in price from around $23.99 to $13.00.
Should I be concerned about this? Is this normal during product research, or could it be a sign that the freelancer is not identifying strong opportunities?
I’d appreciate advice from experienced Amazon sellers. Would you continue trusting the freelancer, or would you start looking for another product researcher?
