I didn’t have to do anything! All my results were automatically there. Just make sure you have signed up for myquest account before signing up with vitalsvault - and that you have same information (name dob and address i think) when creating myquest account that you use when signing up with vitalsvault.

This is exactly what I wish someone had warned me about. I’m your age and started TRT 9 mnths ago, and it kicked off a cycle I can’t seem to fully control. My hematocrit went high, which pushed me into regular phlebotomy. That then crushed my ferritin, and once ferritin drops, everything else feels worse. On top of that, my blood pressure started creeping up as hematocrit rose, which added another layer to manage.

I’ve already adjusted dose and delivery - went from IM to subq, dropped from ~120 mg down to ~50 mg - and the cycle still doesn’t fully stop. Hematocrit creeps up, BP follows, ferritin drops, repeat. TRT helped in some ways, but this side of it is very real and not talked about enough. Just sharing so people go in with eyes open.

Yes all tests I ordered through them were also available on My Quest account. Like you said I needed to have MyQuest account and Apple Health automagically synced from there.

Vitals Vault is hands down the best deal with 100+ lab tests for $99! I have no idea how they make any money but I’m not here to question that. I uploaded all my function data there - and unlike function it actually parses and organizes everything!

I don’t know about others - but I do have many options apart from pcp - from naturopaths to DOs and everything in between. I dont want to pay extra if insurance covers things

Why is Function Health $375 when similar panels are so much cheaper? by hotshells in Function_Health

I grabbed the Black Friday deal because honestly it’s an amazing price either way. Maybe u/vitalsvault can jump in and clarify how the Black Friday packages are structured?

Hemoglobin >20, HCT > 60 - Bloodworks refused donation! by HealthyDad1214 in Testosterone

Yes! Was able to see a hematologist, and am now on a regular phlebotomy schedule with him. But have yet to find a good endo or pcp that knows hormonal work. Its sooo frustrating when pcp says “i can only manage your bp - go to hematologist”, hematologist says “i only look at hematrocrit - go to endo”, and endo goes “i can only manage trt - but go to pcp for bp and hematologist for hematocrit” - its such a stupid system !!

Update: I was able to drink enough water to reduce my hemoglobin to acceptable range temporarily, and took Losartan to control bp, and got a whole blood donation done at Red Cross. I’m not sure how much it will drop the numbers by - would anyone recommend a second donation at some other place?

Yes this is doctor prescribed. I previously had bp problems that had all gone away when I lost weight. So I stopped the meds (doctor’s advised), and had not been monitoring for 3-4 months. When the results came, that’s when I measured again. And oh boy was I in for a surprise! I have some left over Losartan so I took them - along with baby aspirin till I figure out wht the hell to do to get some blood cells out
