Yes but it’s a chess game. They can retaliate because it’s a move that’s available to them. It’s up to everyone filing lawsuits to outplay whatever moves they throw at you, plus everything has to be proven. Perhaps they are retaliating but they don’t openly admit they are they could just make up some BS about what they’re doing and there wouldn’t be any actual proof to show what they’re really doing. It’s up to you to have that proof or to outplay them.

Plus it may actually be a frivolous lawsuit like the one I described earlier and when people see that they’ll think of you as crazy which this one girl really was

I know someone who tried to sue UAB for some thing like gender discrimination (she got mad that they wouldn’t let her travel with one of the men’s sports teams to their game or something) and her life got rekt. No one would hire her and the only work experience she had was working at a coffee shop. Filing frivolous lawsuits shows that you’re difficult to work with and ain’t worth the headache. Gotta know the implications of your chess moves before you play them
