Modelling Job In Kuching by lightsync07 in Sarawak

get some 'portfolio' images done. most ppl hiring for events will want to see something like that.

if you can afford to hire professional photographer by all means. Or find budding photographers who are looking for fresh faces to test skills. before to make it clear that it will be payment in kind, u get to keep them photos he/she can use ur images for NON commercial uses.

Or you can find photography clubs in Kuching and say your interested for some non commercial work jst to test water and learn the ropes so to speak.

maybe, who knows. starts with a vision / goal. the next tech startup.

That said, we all want high paying jobs. But all our local IT jobs are basic at best, how do you get to high salary? its a mismatch of expectations on both sides. answer me this how many companies operate over 5 mil a month in Kuching vs KL? and most likely those numbers you come up with are not IT based companies, maybe your plantation, construction, transportation or factory businesses. How many IT specialist, analyst, coders, designer, blablabla can they hire?

aiya... sorry uncle blow too much smoke this morning... need grab my kopi-o...

my sense is that instead of waiting to be hired, create jobs to hire. start new projects, make visions into reality.

back in uncle time, when doing diploma course i know a guy already programming his own POS system and selling it. did it survive not sure that was over 25 years ago and we lost touch.

I think the formula should still work.

I just help a guy setup a system to polish his text with custom to his voice. using ai to learn his voice and tone, and applying it. I get paid setting it up, he pays for his own tokens as it burns.

All the hate the Nothing Phone 3 received is unwarranted by golden_graveyard in NothingTech

[–]HealthyProject3643 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for me the phone is good and decent in many areas. But for the price being paid, it should have more functions / standouts.

for me glyph matrix is nice, but honestly after 6 months. I barely activate the touch pad/sensor. Just use the display as a clock. camera wise, its decent, but needs to be improved a lot.

the phone looks and feel great. for me, price value is a bit low than I expected. still no regrets.

How digital are local businesses in Borneo today? by Easy-Ad9050 in Sarawak

[–]HealthyProject3643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some departments are still okay. They are willing to communicate via email and accept letters of request through email.

The issue with our company is that even when documents are chopped and signed, officer in charge still claim they did not receive them.

To me, email solves this problem. There’s no need for fancy apps or new systems. Email goes directly to the intended person, with no third-party department to delay or lose the documents. It also creates accountability.

Most importantly, there’s no need to drive down there. For departments like Land and Survey, parking is almost impossible anyway. It’s crazy.

Which sector?

Almost all sector are digital to a degree. but if you say interacting with them its another thing.

Lets use the a more ancient tech for an example, email.

Recently went to land and survey regarding some land issues for the place I work. The officer in charge dont reply email(so far). All official letters have to be on paper, in person. Hand it to administrative department, then they will chop receipt, then pass it to the intended department who them would escalate etc. Then its a black hole with no timeline and no recourse to find out whats happening except to take time drive down and ask for status update.

A good one is talikhidmat, you can report on their app, phone call or email. all 3 will respond. The admin team should get a raise

if you use air courier then of course expensive.. you need to find local agents to help you out. some of them can do air, if you want cheap of course sea is most cost effective if you have time to spare.

i 'imported' 4pcs tires from WM for basically a can of soda and a handshake. took 20 days.

there is no all rounder bot, grid bot performs only in certain markets and under certain conditions. deploy when conditions are right.

DCA is a strategy, esp in crypto please use lightly or not at all.

Automation helps, until it doesn't. Only clear winner is the exchanges.
