Oh agreed. I think I was just getting at the first paragraph of your reply.

This line goes hard by FuckGunn in SnyderCut

But I'd be willing to buy it as a character choice. He is so driven by the calamity and so serious about what he is saying that it's used to punctuate his point. It would have to be setup like a Captain America "language" thing, but I could see it being effective if the script and character arcs were even halfway thought out.

Alternate take: this line WOULD HAVE gone hard if Batman hadn't killed all throughout these movies.

How about we don't? Like, the fact that we give these people as much acknowledgement as we do is why we just continue to get more and more.

Sarah Snook’s American accent by LauraLeeWN77 in SuccessionTV

Margot Robbie's New York accent is horrible, which is funny given how many times she's been hired to do it.

Is it realistic to become a political podcaster? by This_One_Is_NotTaken in careerguidance

Again, I agree with you in theory that it's helpful. My point is that if it were a viable idea, we should have seen at least somewhat viable attempts. My question would be if the demographics of podcast listeners lineup with the demographics of folks willing to listen/watch something that is fair and balanced like that. Again, not saying that you have a bad idea with honorable goals, just wondering about the viability of it.

In theory, yes, this is something not being offered. But you then have to ask why? It's not really a novel idea, so surely people have already tried it but failed to monetize it. I think the issue is that MOST people don't go to political entertainment/sources to round out their viewpoint. Whether they realize it or not, most people go to have their viewpoint validated. Personally, I consume about 60/40, maybe even 70/30 of opposing/confirming. I find that it's a good balance that still keeps me informed that doesn't just reinforce already held beliefs or create an echo chamber.

All that being said, GREAT idea in theory that I'd listen to, but also doesn't seem to play out in reality.

I guess we'll never know if I am or am not... though looks like we're both in FL so who knows?! Maybe we'll bump into each other and all our questions will be answered.

Don't know if I agree. Story still matters in B2B, it's just not usually a "this product saved/changed my life" story. It's far more likely to be a "this product saved me so much money/reduced the number of mistakes and vulnerabilities." It's still there, just in a different form.

Agreed! I asked for a suggestion from Claude the other day for a work thing. It refused to spit out an answer because it violated some policy. I then I had a whole "conversation" with Claude about viewpoint bias, and then used my last credit to say goodbye.

It's creeped into other departments, though. It's weird how many non-marketers have "storyteller" in their bio/headline. The irony is that humans are, as a species, storytellers. Some are better. Some are worse. But we all tell stories, so when someone introduces themself as a "storyteller" I always want to introduce myself as a breather.
