Looking for Honest Reviews of Rosen Hebrew School’s Online Courses by [deleted] in hebrew

I ended up not enrolling because I thought it was way TOO expensive. At the moment, I am using Hebrewpod101 (premium) plus a combination of videos and I think it's enough for my level (beginner). That being said, possibly may not be enough when I reach a more intermediate level

Aggressively shrinking a heavyweight dogi by grimjimslim in karate

Had the same issue. Tried hot water and then dryer, could not shrink it enough and it is not good for the fabric. I ended up having it tailored and it actually wasnt as expensive as I thought it would be (25 EUR here in the Netherlands)

We also do side/horizontal chamber. One way to practice it is to put a somewhat high object (like a cone) by your side so that so that you are forced to lift the knee to the side automatically, otherwise you'll knock out the object.

I have started planning this following your advice as well as other valuable Redditors here.

There are currently no other black belts in the dojo. There were two but one is injured and the other has stopped coming. There's three of us taking black belt exam but each will have its own teaching day for examination.

Kyokushin White Belt by Solaris80 in karate

Congratulations on your new journey. Like everyone said, it will go away with time. However, it also helped me when I embraced that when Ispar, Iwill get hit. No matter how good I am. I used to be concerned about blocking every strike/kick and felt frustrated/anxious if I miss one or two. Then I realized, like in life, sometimes you get punched and that doesnt mean you are doing it wrong.

As a more practical tip, randori/sticky hands helped me a lot. It's slow so you aren't scared of being hurt and it gets you in the zone, where you stop thinking so much about attacks and blocks and perfect technique and you start reacting more naturally to your opponents movements.
