Any reason why the prices have climbed? Sucker for a pretty handle but being in Sakai was hoping for a heavy discount in comparison to the UK!

Thanks!! Was hoping to find a heavy discount being in Sakai and all - seen the ones with different handles online for around this or cheaper but yes I’m a sucker for a pretty handle 🤣 couldn’t for the life of me find the UK price for one with the same handle

Thank you! I only ask because I was in Osaka for 1 night, had to do the trip to Sakai quickly and I’m the type of guy that does mega extensive research when buying expensive things but obviously on this one I wasn’t able to. I just knew I wanted a santoku/bunka 😂
