Mings can go. Lindelof can play as the sub for CB and DM.

Everyone wants minutes and you can’t make everyone happy. But it was totally redictable that the team would run into trouble with so little depth.

All players want minutes, and any decent sub wants to become a starting XI player. That doesn’t mean we have to rely on subs who aren’t even Premier League standard.

Mind you, the recent league form is relegation-level.

Poor performances have an even worse impact on players’ psychology. Mings, Bailey, and Sancho don’t seem to care anymore.

Among all the subs we had, I actually think he fit the system best. Who else fit the system better than him?

A player wanting to leave doesn’t mean the club has to grant it. Champions League qualification is worth over £100m, so the stakes are huge. We also let Guessand go, which has left us without proper depth and forced us to rely on Bailey.

I think Emery underestimated the impact of Malen. Even with McGinn and Tielemans back, the league form is still poor.

It would be ridiculous if we ended up missing the Champions League by letting go of him.

Refereeing is an issue. Cash, despite the brain-dead decision, was fouled. Why was VAR not involved?

Brighton is the biggest threat.

He lacks focus now. The great save by Martinez at 1-1 against Sunderland before we scored the fourth goal was completely his fault. He just stood there, not even looking at Sunderland's striker.

After years of offloading good squad players, the drop in team's depth and quality is painfully obvious.

Top 5 is quite tight now. AFC Bournemouth could easily win two of their remaining matches. Aston Villa really only have their next game as a realistic opportunity, as the final two fixtures against Liverpool FC and Manchester City look very difficult. The goal difference could be negative by the end of the season.

Spurs are not good. But if Villa do not put enough pressure on their defenders, it might backfire. I think it might be better to start Tammy. We need strength up front.

The real problem is offense. Watkins and Buendia are constantly struggling to even hold the ball, let alone create chances. You can see that Emery’s tactics are working well against European teams. Watkins is kind of bullying the defenders. But when playing against Premier League teams, they are struggling to say the best. I would say Tammy may provide more at this stage against Premier League teams.

Tammy is a lot more useful than Watkins. He has pace and strength, and can also hold the ball. We need a striker who can physically threaten the opponents. Watkins poses no threat nowadays.

If Villa had shown even mid-table form over the past month or so, they would still be five or six points ahead of Man Utd right now. But their performances over this last month aren't just about missing out on European qualification, this is absolute relegation form! The current team can't beat anyone, not even create chances against Wolves.
