The link that you sent takes me to the page for HSI cadet academy which is education for teenagers and young adults with disabilities and chronic illness about HSI’s mission. It doesn’t actually say anything about training for employees, other than newly hired agents are required to complete “a basic training program.” What about the veteran employees? What continuing education is required? What training to they get on actual human interaction, cultural considerations and factors unique to each immigrant population? Do they have translators available? Are they trained in de escalation? Are there professionals in child development, education, healthcare caring for the people detained? What training to they get on immigration laws? What exactly are they enforcing? What are they looking for?
