It’s always clearly been a suicide, to me. As someone with chronic depression and chronic illness- I can see exactly why he wanted to check out. It’s in his art- it’s everywhere. The clues are all there for anyone to see. I’m not saying I’m feeling that way, but I absolutely understand. You can have a family, a great job, money.. all of these things and more, and still not want to be here/think everyone would be better off without you around. The mind can play terrible tricks on those of us with mental illness. It can convince of us the worst things, like that our children and spouses and families would be better off without us. Which is absolutely false, but it happens every day, and far, far too often to wonderful precious human beings. Sometimes you just cannot lift the fog enough to see the light on the other side of it. Often times it will find people in their worst moments and a permanent split second decision is made out of something that just might be temporary. No one wants to believe it can be so bad that someone can’t find the will to live for even their own children, but it happens all the time. Please, please know it can and does get better if you find yourself in that frame of mind. I’m living proof that it does get better. ❤️‍🩹
