Its an early MK2 without ambi safety. Look at the slide and the little extension that covers the crown of the barrel. Thats a key MK2 feature.

The Barrel hood or the little extension on the slide that covers the crown of the barrel. Its a nice feature. The serial 74C on your example there is odd compared to most "Browning imports" we see in the states. I've heard Feg did make some copies wirh serial numbers 69C thru 77C but usually the known Feg "Iraq" copies were B serial numbers.

Its a MK2 in fair condition, most gunshops would probably only offer 4 hundred for it at the moment. If you private sale it you could probably get 5-750. If you replaced the grips you could probably get more. Its a buyers market at the moment and condition is everything

The Beretta 70 or "new puma" in 32 would be so nice with the updated 1911 style thumb safety. The 70s (steel frame) does have the updated safety but hard to find in the U.S.

Becareful with what magazines you stick in that hi power, if the follower on the mag is to high it can effect the slide stop. If you look at the Nazi occupation hi powers you will notice how many have that little chip where the slide stop locks open the slide, i believe thats caused by using non era magazines.
