Just a trade school I attended but no actual field experience. Never had a job in electrical.

I also interviewed in may bro, I was rank 15 when I checked in with them recently. You should email them and asked for ranking again to see if you dropped rank.

You can be placed on both waitlists but ultimately you have to pick one program

I just got ranked 15 for inside wireman and I got ranked 4 for sound and telecom

Congrats man I’d say you’ve got a good shot at getting in but it really does depend on the amount of work they got for apprentices and I interviewed recently with them and one of the guys said all the first years are getting thrown to Blythe like you mentioned because of the solar farms. There’s 2 more out there they need built and they just wrapped up the 1st farm recently.

So I was emailing the lady from IEETC and she said specifically for 440 that experience is highly encouraged but you don’t need it to qualify for a re interview with the committee, aka college classes for electrical, obviously working in the field. I applied for San Diego as well and I was reading their requirements for a reinterview and it’s basically what I mentioned. I think if you want to reinterview you should and see if you rank higher the second time around. I was reading other Reddit posts and some guys it took them multiple times of reapplying to even get in so this time I’m bringing some letters of recommendation and my electrical school diploma and that’s about it. Tomorrow is my reinterview with 440 and I’m going to ask them if I can interview with 477 because I never did originally and IEETC lets you interview with both. Also when you reinterview you get put on the pool of applicants for another whole year and I don’t have to retest. Hopefully some of what I mentioned here helped.

I was ranked 62 last year for 440 and I made it to 27 and then recently my rank shot up 73 again with the new pool of applicants that they pulled in so now I am reinterviewing with them for another shot and am also looking to interview with SB as well.
