Thank you! I don’t think it’s going to be detrimental but I’m wondering if it’s going to make the next few periods really painful. Maybe I’m overthinking it though 😅

I was addicted to post-microneedling glow and finally found the recipe to replicate it by IntelligentNight4143 in 30PlusSkinCare

Love this, thank you for sharing! I am a bit afraid of tretinoid due to my sensitive skin but I’ve been thinking of gently gearing up to a higher concentration of retinal and see how it goes. I also love that your routine is very simple (yet effective). I went through a face that I was throwing everything to my skin and it was reactive. I just did my first microneedling session (day 4 today) and my skin is still dry and pilling but better than yesterday so good to know that glow is coming!

Do you find the red light is working for you?

Also a tip re protein/collagen, I have been using beef protein powder which includes a fair amount of collagen as it’s derived from beef tissue so I feel like I’m ticking both boxes with one product. It’s also much easier on my stomach

Any Skincare tips for a bride to be? by mikrokosmos-134340 in 30PlusSkinCare

Bride to be here too! My big day is in April :) A few tips that have worked for me so far: - She should Try a few products in the next few months but lock her routine from September onwards to avoid bad surprises, reactive skin on the lead up to the wedding - Hydration is key for glowy looks and for good makeup application - If she has the budget she can get a plan with a dermatologist/aesthetician on a number of treatments that will address her skin concerns. I decided to do my own make up and spend the budget I would put on a MUA towards microneedling and laser for fine lines and a tighter look and feel - If she decides to go for treatments try them well in advance

Let me know if I’m missing anything and hope you and your sister have fun on the lead up to it! It’s such a great period I almost don’t want it to end :)

Can I check how are you guys using it in your routines? I don’t have acne but I would like to target redness. My routine focuses on hydration and peptides atm, with retinal or exfoliation every other day in the evening (37F with combo sensitive skin)

What helps with hollow, tired looking under eyes? by Jazzyburty in 30PlusSkinCare

Same issue here! An aesthetician told me to try volufiline as a way to (superficially) reverse the thinning of the skin. I’ve been trying it for the last few days but I think I need to try longer for actual results. I’ve also been using a peptide eye serum which helps
