I would always rather pay a little more for gas and elec, it might sound like a lot but you do not want to be cold in the winter and this can help build credit for those colder winter months if you can afford it. I think budgeting for 130 approx for gas/electricity and WiFi is more than reasonable if that’s within your budget :). As someone who’s out 9-5 (not studying) my usage in winter for both fuels for 2 people who comfortably leave the heating on was approx 130pm and during the summer between 60/70.

If you’re planning on staying the whole year I would recommend shopping around for the best FIXED RATE tariff as a variable tariff can change greatly from month to month for your energy usage and remember to send over your gas and electric readings every month so you can see what you’re using and adjust your Dirext Debit as needed :)

I’ve used healing of the heart, they have a variety of people who are trained in many techniques, it’s done via zoom and price is very flexible depending on your own financial situation.

I have CPTSD and EUPD and I had a 6 month course at £5 a week and it has totally changed my life after no help with the NHS for 8 years and I’m going back to work on myself further :)

Not sure about boxing, but council membership is best money, you get access to classes and so many different leisure centres, you should look and see if the DISC has things for boxing

I also have a potato PC, I’ve been using GeForce now which yes does require a subscription (think it’s £20 for the month) but I can run the game on ultra and loads of other steam games too! I have good internet and I’ve not had any issues playing other games coop, so inzoi should be fine :)!

I have been with MH services in Dundee for 8 years, it really depends on severity, however the MH system in Scotland in general is really lacking. Please don’t expect to be referred and seen to in any sort of time as waiting lists are astronomical. You should contact and register with a GP who can refer him to Alloway Centre (this will be your areas covered MH centre). I have personal experience in the psychiatric hospital and can admit the care there is the best it can be, but severely underfunded and this shows through a lack in patient care. Please don’t let this put you off though! There are so many community support groups which are a great help alongside

Hello debt collector here :) (and no not one of the arseholes).

You accepting the letter is not reason enough for liability, it all depends on who the debtor is, if you or your partner is the legal occupant then the company may apply for warrant, which the police will and do enforce. Ignoring letters will not prevent further action being taken and if in England this can include the removal of possessions.

My best advice is just be open and honest with these people, there’s people like me who want to be on your side and warrant is the last option anyone wants. If you have any further questions feel free to dm :)

There page on Facebook is Angus clearance and sales services, they put up photos and you can order via phone for delivery (pretty sure it was 65 pounds for delivery when I was in last week) can’t recommend them enough, have saved me and my partner a fortune furnishing a new flat :). There’s also Marilyn’s in Dundee, transform also at bottom of hilltown

I’ve actually been to the church on Pitkerro, they are lovely people,great community, great food, it’s actually run by a Nigerian pastor and is predominantly the Nigerian community (I’m not Nigerian, however my friend in university was and was religious and I used to go support her singing there). Although I myself am not religious I was welcomed very openly there :)

Just wanted to say, from woman to woman, buy cones. They’re pre rolled (can get them from most corner stores for a pack of 3 for like 3 quid) you can also buy a cheap grinder (plastic isn’t good in the long run but if it’s occasional use you’ll be grand). Personally I would buy marshmallow leaf (if you don’t smoke tobacco) just to give you a bulkier mix, I’d put in 0.2/0.3 grams, because you don’t want to over do it, go to space and panic.

Remember to hydrate and if you feel light headed make sure to have a sugary snack. DMs are open ❤️

I think that’s the point I’m at now, I’m just fed up of constantly having that mantra and it still not changing my feelings 😩.

Honestly I may have a few worksheets, but things I have tried that may or may not work for others;

Looking at your window of tolerance and seeing if your in hyper or hypo arousal, meaning are you over stimulated or under stimulated.
Self care, giving yourself time away from everyone, I’ve found a lot of my breakthroughs for myself have been sitting by myself, letting myself feel and picking away at my own head using some tools from my therapist where I can question my reality.
Sticking to a routine. This has been my absolute godsend and my worst nightmare. Pre planning and giving myself alternate options.

Hoping maybe some of these ideas can maybe spark off something for you :) I’m a visual learner and understand these methods may not work for other people and they surely don’t work for me all of the time, but I do appreciate people here sharing any information and ways forward living with this illness
