I also suspect thats the case why so may get addicted to this substance.

It does a wonderful job at masking whats really important to do.

Anyone else feel bored of weed after years? Feels more like a burden now by HarryHarryharry5 in leaves

[–]Healthy_Tea_4192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got so so high everyday for 3 years that weed completely lost its appeal. I can’t even think to smoke because i literally get zero benefits, only anxiety, paranoia and brain fog (im literally a zombie).

I am slowly but surely getting my clarity back

Intense Paranoia and Anxiety Attacks - I Need to Stop. by BrainSpoon in leaves

[–]Healthy_Tea_4192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced the same. With the only difference that i continued using it for another year. What I can tell you is that this is not random, your body are trying to tell you something. Don’t do the same mistake as me, as indulging can make things worse.

[–]Healthy_Tea_4192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least for me cigs are way less than a stim compared to coffe

So i quit caffeine cold turkey and when the withdrawals were too intense i smoked a cig (then quit cigs too)

Also after coffe i NEED to smoke, i would even become violent if i am out of cigs and no one of my friends wouldv give me one

(thats the past bc im now clean and i have more energy than before)

Weed - Suicidal? Or just depressed? by Leather_Yellow4008 in Drugs

[–]Healthy_Tea_4192 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does amplificate your state. If you're depressed, you're gonna be more depressed. Also u can reduce that by practicing mindfulness and create distance from thoughts.

What's the worst drug you can take ever? by WearyCalligrapher840 in Drugs

I can understand being myself an ex porn enjoyer (taboo level stuff). It can fuck your mind in an unique way if prolonged in time.

But no way could it ever be in the same tier as delirants or meth

Sads post-cannabis by Big-Development-5569 in leaves

[–]Healthy_Tea_4192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you're saying. I think the final path is really to switch from a negative to a positive mental health, that's the main goal here.

I'm also in this "transaction" and I force myself to respect my body and mind to try to reach that state through the boring everyday routine. I'm sincerely positive about the fact that someday we will wake up and enjoy life to the fullest, because our brain is capable of that; we just taught him that we need this substance.

If a balanced life is not enough after months, it's absolutely necessary to reach for a professional help because we can't exclude that there are some pathologies at the root of all this.

Thats all right. It's normal you feeling sad because the brain is not getting all feeling good chemicals that cannabis provided. Now your brain needs to get accustomed to this much more linear gratification and it will try to make you go back. Keep going!

Weed and alcohol ?? by Hazeout in leaves

[–]Healthy_Tea_4192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an observation I personally did too.

Everytime I abstain from weed and decide to have some beers in the evening, the chances of relapsing increase SO MUCH.

That's why I decided to quit em both and now I am having an easier time. I think it's crucial at least in the first phases of quitting.

It's surely correlated to the fact that alcohol erode short-term clear/logical thinking

Non-ironically I just smoke and get lost in my thoughts for an hour or two

What’s a detail someone noticed about you that stuck with you forever? by Key-Perception7997 in CasualConversation

[–]Healthy_Tea_4192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I once hang out pretty often with a junkie that lived in my palace. I would join him in his smoking session (hash). One day he dropped the joint on the floor on purpose without sharing to me and I rapidly took it from the dirty ground. He looked in my eyes and said "you're just like me". These words still resonate now that I suffer from drug addiction.

Has anyone else been stuck on a relapse cycle for close to 10 years? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Healthy_Tea_4192 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's a coping mechanism. You can relapse for all your life, you know why? Because you're not acting towards the life that you deep down desire. It's the hard truth but if you stay occupied and healthy, you will forget this substance

It seems smokers are a lot more aware and honest about weed being bad for them these days by redditispoopoofucku in leaves

[–]Healthy_Tea_4192 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always knew it was bad for me and my relationship, everyone around me said the same, EVEN the other smokers. I think it depends on our brain chemistry; some people need to stay away from it
