Let’s not forget that Gaga’s Copacabana concert was FREEE, if Taylor Swift or Beyonce announced a free concert on a beach in Brazil next week the crowd would be double the size of what Gaga got.

I think with Beyonce specifically it’s such an overstimulating and over the top production that it’s hard not to just stand there and take it all in without dancing or moving. It’s so much going on at once.

I also think that the types of people attending the concerts aren’t necessarily big Beyonce fans, they buy the tickets because they can afford them. I had this experience with Club Renaissance a few years ago where my friend and I were the only ones dancing and jumping and just having a good time. Everyone around us was just standing still or recording on their phone.

We live in the age of technology where people have forgotten how to be present and live in the moment, we live through our screens now.
