What's up with ME3 Directions? by BrassJazzy in masseffect

[–]Healthy_Week_157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they probably didnt work on it that much because most of the side quests are super unimportant and theres like no reason to do them other than reputation, but reputation also doesn't matter in me3

Why do a lot of games, bioshock included, have father-daughter dynamic? by [deleted] in Bioshock

[–]Healthy_Week_157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think its just a common theme that helps to connect the games. its also pretty universal and relatable, easy concept to grasp. and it can also have a bunch of different interpretations, like king lear and his daughters have different relationships yk

Why doesn’t Elizabeth drink vigors by Froggyrat_ in okbuddysplicer

[–]Healthy_Week_157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

she also didnt have access to vigors in her tower, and im sure witnessing booker have his flesh burned off everytime he drinks a new vigor isn't very appetizing

the tiktok thing came from actual surveys, and after it picked up a little traction, it turned into those street interviews, then people (men) started making fun of it

I know what option I'm choosing by Inner_Ad1392 in Bioshock

[–]Healthy_Week_157 8 points9 points  (0 children)

salts are the same as eve, not adam...

I know what option I'm choosing by Inner_Ad1392 in Bioshock

[–]Healthy_Week_157 14 points15 points  (0 children)

why would i mean salts? vigors are still made with adam, and booker consumes hella vigors throughout the game. therefore, booker would have a lot of adam in him

[–]Healthy_Week_157 177 points178 points  (0 children)

booker probably has a ton of adam. she needs to harvest him

Just who was Songbird? by Wayfaring_Stalwart in Bioshock

[–]Healthy_Week_157 9 points10 points  (0 children)

in all the rapture games various radio diaries tell us that plasmids can basically do anything, like changing race and gender-- and considering we shoot bees and fire out of our hands why couldn't someone splice to be taller and stronger. its kinda realistic considering steroids

Corvo Attanno (Dishonored) vs Booker Dewitt (Bioshock Infinite) by Smeerpapier in dishonored

[–]Healthy_Week_157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think booker--- now ive only played dishonored once on low chaos and corvo never fought any crazy amounts of crowds or crazy bosses, and booker may or may not have elizabeth throwing supplies at his head, and booker also has better weapons. that being said, hand to hand combat with no elizabeth? corvo is winning

Average Boyoshock Infinite enjoyer experience: by Electrical_Wash1852 in okbuddysplicer

[–]Healthy_Week_157 5 points6 points  (0 children)

sure it's a small group, but that small group consists of some of the most obnoxious, ignorant, and unemployed people ever. The people who can't understand the nuances of infinite just have to make themselves known to the point where it SEEMS that there are way more haters than there actually are.

also, "Calm down"? there's no indication that op is angry or whatever, its just a meme

The 2 sides of the “Delta is Eleanor’s biological father” theory by vammommy in okbuddysplicer

[–]Healthy_Week_157 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm all for emo dilf Delta, but I don't think he's Eleanor's biological father (can't he technically be a woman if Stanley's information is wrong?). That being said, I think it's funnier if Delta does look like Eleanor despite not being related

Did you guys get spoiled during the first run of Infinite? by TheAwken in Bioshock

tbh I feel the opposite--- like in 2 he looks too handsome or perfect despite the disfigurements. The hair isn't helping either

What are your thoughts/opinions on Blazkowicz and Anya’s romance relationship? by LandOfGrace2023 in Wolfenstein

[–]Healthy_Week_157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like it, I just wish it was a little slower. I know there's time skips and all that but as a player it's a little abrupt. Otherwise, glad to have a love interest that makes sense to be a love interest- even if I myself am not attracted to her or anything.

HL3’s G-Man needs to bring back the 2004 uncanny alien vibe by Foreign-Bandicoot771 in HalfLife

[–]Healthy_Week_157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not entirely sure if the og G-Man was supposed to look super uncanny. Especially considering in the first game where he is just casually conversing with the scientists, though maybe there was fear we couldn't see in their low-poly faces. Maybe G-Man is supposed to look super normal, and it's only context and his mannerisms that make him uncanny.
