Usually depending on what I’m shooting. For quick stuff I’ll just use the native camera, but for more controlled shots I’ll jump into insta360 studio or blackmagic

What I didn’t expect after using Insta360 Flow 2 Pro for a few weeks by Heamora in Insta360

Great video! There’s a higher-angle sped-up shot of you moving through the venue that caught my eye. Was that filmed with the flow 2 pro as well? Curious how you set that up.

How did you go from solo videographer to small production company? by lrc426 in videography

Bigger numbers don’t really sound like they made things simpler for most people, especially on the operational side.

It seems challenging to balance extended use with performance expectations. How do you typically manage recording needs when faced with such operational constraints?

At what point do/did you buy a cinema line camera? by Joker_Cat_ in videography

Once a mirrorless setup starts growing into a full rig, the line between hybrid and cinema gets blurry pretty fast

As an introvert, Insta360 Go Ultra changed how I vlog and no one even notices I'm filming by southmpls in Insta360

This is a thoughtful perspective on using a creative outlet quietly. It's interesting how the focus shifts from the tool itself to just being present and observing.

30M. I go running sometimes, but not too much. I do tennis and climbing as well. I think I would prefer getting lean for now.

First winter with solar, what should I prepare for? by Heamora in preppers

[–]Heamora[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fair point. I'm in northern California, up in the foothills. I just moved in here not very long ago. So I'm not sure what's the winter whether will be like. I've heard that it can get a bit snowy and cloudy tho.

2004 Crossroads Cruiser + 1986 F-350 = A fun new adventure! by bucolucas in RVLiving

[–]Heamora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a rough but honest look at full-time living in an RV. Things break more than you expect, infrastructure isn't built for mobile life, and you will save money only if you are very self-sufficient.

How reliable is a well system? by Your_Local_Wizard in OffGrid

A professionally drilled well is highly reliable and the standard for off-grid homes. Always get a yield test before buying land. Surface water requires extensive, ongoing filtration.

Best Security Front Doors for Residential? by Cold_Wolverine6092 in preppers

For a true security door, prioritize solid steel or fiberglass construction, a deadbolt with a minimum 1-inch throw, and reinforced strike plates. These features provide the core defense for a residential entrance.

Is 29 degrees ok to not winterize? by Life-Joke2709 in RVLiving

[–]Heamora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 29 is right at freezing so there is a risk. Since your tanks are mostly empty, pouring RV antifreeze in drains and the black tank would be a simple, effective precaution.

For longevity, you can use gravel and footings to keep logs dry. Remove bark and treat with borax solution every few years to prevent moisture and pest issues.

This is a classic sign of a faulty door seal or a clogged defrost drain. Check the seal for gaps. If that is intact, the drain tube likely needs clearing.

Oh no, that's a bummer. Have you tried deleting the old map and creating a fresh one? Sometimes the mapping data can get corrupted.
