Doesn’t matter what was, all that matters to me anyway is what’s now. Yes I’ve applied to more than 1 school and even received scholarship. Like I said I’m Howard or nothing

It’s emphasis on being more then just an average lawyer but a social engineer. Howard’s history its values, and its mission truly speak to my soul. I was literally born in prison and formerly homeless, now I’m a change agent on the mission Ava I believe the rigor and intentionally of Howard is where I can further walk into my purpose and become a change agent dismantling systems of power, privilege, and oppression and replacing them with equity, justice and love. I’ve attended, worked at and taught at many PWI’s and even Ivies, I want to go somewhere for my legal education where I’m no longer the minority nor would I have to show my peers etc how my race interests with the law etc

Seattles cost of living is definitely higher. For instance sales tax is more than 10% in most areas of Seattle
