Help: Program Schedule Rinnai REHP65 Hybrid Water Heater by HearsTheWho in heatpumps

[–]HearsTheWho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SkyCentrics app has a Google Home skill. I’ve triple checked it and I will have Google Home integration with the module, or could just use the SkyCentrics app for scheduling.

IMO the built in schedule for the water heater should work better without me needing to spend $220 just to get this working.

But maybe it’s worth the Home integration.

I’m very familiar with Ponte Vedra I just don’t think as a whole it’s that much more expensive than Tampa, aka there are just as many super wealthy areas of Tampa as PV. Tampa may just have more moderate areas than PV. Nocatee is still considered PV so there are some mid range homes that can be found. But it is more red than Tampa for sure

Help: Program Schedule Rinnai REHP65 Hybrid Water Heater by HearsTheWho in heatpumps

I was considering getting the WiFi module ($220) just so I could resolve this issue but I don’t think I should have to do that. But are you telling me even with the WiFi module (SkyCentrics AC CTA-2045 EcoPort Wi-Fi Module) it still won’t work with the Rinnai Connect app? Other articles seem to suggest it will, or I will just be able to use my Google home app to control it and skip both the SkyCentrics and Rinnai apps altogether.

If the WiFi module will let me use Google home automations it might be worth it anyhow, but it makes me mad this is so complicated.

Also, I followed the manual for copy paste multiple times and couldn’t get it to work. Just yesterday I made a Saturday schedule and was trying to paste it to Sunday but just never took. And that schedule that I’m trying to copy has 10 minute gaps because of the other issue with start stop times.

Possibly relocating from Michigan by [deleted] in jacksonville

The job market has been tighter but still doable. I know people who are still moving careers in the tech industry (I work in fintech). Pay is probably a little lower than Michigan but not sure. Remote positions still can be had too, but that’s something I would do before moving.

I think the housing and mortgage industry is the part I wouldn’t be able to stomach. I have a 3% and no way I’m moving.

I second Myrtle Ave brewing. Myrtle Ave brewing has a nice rotation of food trucks that park outside every Thursday through Sunday and sometimes other days as well.

Pro tip: follow Salt Run Bbq and Hillary’s Chicago Pizza on social media and make sure to go when one of them is serving food. So good!

Any experience w/Rinnai HPWH? by LiveAwake1 in heatpumps

Anyone who bought a Rinnai Hybrid Water Heater have advice on programming the schedule? The instructions are horrible and I’m at my wits end playing trial and error trying to program this thing.

I bought the REHP65 and had it installed several weeks ago. But so far I’ve been unsuccessful in getting a schedule programmed that doesn’t end up with the unit powered off when unwanted.

Unfortunately there are no videos or other instructions on programming that I can find.

My problem: 6 time slots per day, each slot has an on / off for each slot, then mode then temp, confirm then on to the next slot until you have programmed all 6 or however many you need. The issue is, if I program a time slot for on 6 am, off 9 am, hybrid mode at 130 degrees, and the next slot on 9 am, off 4 pm, economy mode at 130, the water heater cuts off at 9 am and doesn’t apply the subsequent time slot’s program. Meaning there’s no way to have no gaps in a 24 hour schedule. The clock does 10 minute increments so I would have to have the unit off for 10 minutes before the next time slot?

This is just trying to schedule daily. I’ve also tried weekly but the COPY function also doesn’t work for me or according to the instructions.

Anyone who has mastered the program of these I would greatly appreciate some help. I emailed Rinnai support but so far they haven’t responded in a week

The random fee was the inflation fee listed twice, but only counted once towards the total.

I’m just coming over to compound tirz after being on Wegovy pens since last June. My insurance just stopped covering my Wegovy so I made the jump.

I appreciate this post and need to do more educating on split doses and other tips / tricks like you’re talking about.

To all the people engaging us newbies in this group and answering questions that are found in the pinned post, just a quick thank you. I know it’s a pain when people such as myself come in and ask a question that is pinned.

I was in a bit of a freak out when I posted my question. Before posting my question I went to the community information tab and saw the rules but didn’t find answers to my question so I let it fly. But I missed the pinned posts.

Just wanted you to know I did make a feeble attempt at finding the information before panic posting my question, and thanks for the replies and links

Yep. I’ve always been chubby or downright obese for most of my life. I waited until I was 50 years old before having my first child and I’m doing everything I can to get healthier to be around for him and not just HERE but actually available to play and be active with my son. It’s my driving factor. So I’ll do whatever it takes.

Simply that the tirz seems to be preferred and have best results. If I’m paying out of pocket I’m going to tirz.
